Description : I just uploaded a mixed and mastered version of this song. Hopefully this addresses some of your comments, and I did remove the ooohs from the beginning. Thanks for listening.
This song was originally written and performed by BadHuman, and when I heard his beautiful guitar strumming I thought this song is begging for vocals! So, I went and asked Lacey Cruse to lend her vocal talents, and got together with her and Paul Lucas to write some lyrics and put a melody together. We then added a bass line and some strings, plus a synthesizer for a little diversion. This was mixed and mastered using Logic Studio. When you hear just how well Badhuman's guitar playing mixes with Lacey's vocals, you won't be disappointed. Marcel Harvey also added some guitar parts to the chorus.

Wow, this is beautiful. You chose a good vocalist for this. When I heard the intro my mind actually went to the days of roller coaster tycoon as the music had this kind of feel to it. I love it!
Capturing, positive title. Remarkable instrumentation, and soothing, yet empowering voice. This altogether is a beautiful track. It has such a chilling and simple sound, yet such complex vocals and powerful choice of lyrics. This is absolutely well-rounded. Nothing needs to be changed. This is truly a masterpiece. Amazing!
Loving this laid back feel vibe. Guitars are simply the best. Editing n transitions seem right on time. great job with the outcome! outstanding work here:) -EazyBeatz-
A Beautiful Day Indeed!. I love the Fret-less Bass work. Raw Vocals reminds me of Joni Mitchell in some ways. Then that awesome guitar. I could see Tumbleweed loving this one. Then the Harmonies just cemented this one for me. Great Job!

Thanks for your detailed comments. Lacey indeed has great vocals, and she can do harmony on the fly. Badhuman cemented the original guitar work, and did some stellar work with it.
And there you have it!!What an amazing sound! Beautiful. The guitar is just amazing! And Laceys vocals!! You have mastered this to perfection. Very well done to all involved for you are tuly blessed!!
KD,this is a strong track i like the mix. the only thing i might do to this is pump it up on the hook. mabe add a heavier kik and snare, couple of simple drum rolls and cymble crashes, acoustic guitar strumming on the left, and call it a day.just my opinion. im commin back soon.PEACE. THE MACK MAN OUT.
Thanks for your feedback. So the percussion kind of needs to be a little low key and melo, so I'm not sure if adding a snare and kick into it would add or take away from the overall mood the song is trying to set. At any rate, thanks for the thoughts on the piece.
Wow its perfect i'll just be adding this to my fav's and probably will wake up to this for some time(and school coming up i'm going to need this motivation).
Nicely done!!! Vocals are spectacular, as is the guitar work. The mix sounds crisp and clean as well. I can't find any flaws with this one. Sounds like all of you were on the same page and having a great time doing this.
Thanks for posting this one. It went well with my afternoon coffee :) And thanks for reminding me it is a beautiful day.
Bear, you must be referring to the line about "sipping my coffee", as often a beautiful day would start that way for many. I'm glad you enjoyed the song.
Beautiful day and beautiful song. Vocals, guitar, everything just super, I would if I may just suggest that you perhaps consider leaving out the 'Ooooh's' at the beginning and just let the vocals kick in as she does come in with a big 'wow' factor when she starts to sing, maybe turn the vocals down just a touch though but leave the rawness, I like that. Well done to everyone involved. Harmonies are superb also.
Greatly appreciate the feedback. I too have wondered if we should take the oooh's out of the beginning, I'll bring it up and see what Lacey thinks. Thanks for the critical evaluation and I'll see if we can't incorporate some of them.
lovely guitar and vox and subtely supported by the beat - production needs a bit of oomph though.
Edit - it's difficult to explain. Might be the way the vox and guitar have been recorded seperately. The guitar sounds lovely and bright. The vocal does'nt have the same quality. Needs a bit of a boost and pushing forward in the mix too. The backing vocal in particular is struggling to find it's place in the mix. Anyway this is just my opinion. If I'm wrong blame my ears.

Thanks brother. I too like the way this mix turned out. I really appreciate BadHuman for coming up with such a beautiful mix of his guitar strumming and percussion.
just had to log in to leave you a few words after listening to this one Kdlucas...you`re right..beautiful guitar sound and wrapped perfectly arount those extra talented vocals. A great listen over my way and kudos to you on the composition..the variation you have developed sets aside any limits the little chord prog may have....Everything needed is here and it all sounds great....a well done to all....Ed
Thanks for stopping by and giving this one a review. Yes, when I first heard BadHuman's chord progression I knew he was onto something special, and with just a little additions here and there it could become a full blown song. Lacey's vocals work well with this genre so I'm glad we could put something like this together collaborating with a total of 4 members on Looperman.

Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.

Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...

Cool project top shelf production...

One suggestion. If you add a little-bit of reverb on the singer, then she will stand out more powerfully.
Really liked those guitars and the bass...
Vocs lifted this high quality production to the flies...
Respect for everyone who took part in this!
Outstanding!
Hats off, Danke
