wow really good track! the organ bring an old school touch in the render! i liked of courses the guitars play but i'm more attentive with the bass whose line is obsiouvly brilliant.
really good work Evan, congrats!

I sincerely hope that you have been enjoying the new album! I am so thankful for your support, it really does mean a lot!
I wish that I could fully believe your words within myself, but it is extremely helpful to hear that from someone else. I don't really know where I live, in relation to the present moment... but I do mostly believe that I am alive sometime, somewhere!
Thank you again! I apologise for not replying sooner, but the security thing locked me out of the site again last night... oh well. I will return the favor as soon as possible, though for the moment I am tired.
Thank you again BLEEP for your listens and words, and your support!
When I made this song, and in the time following, this song would almost always make me cry. These days it simply gives me hope. Those animals were innocent bystanders in a war that they did not choose. Some fell, like in all wars. Some survived. I chose to fight, since no one else would, and several battles were won on behalf of the "civilians."
Bleep hows it going man good to hear from you. I had to spend some time finding something i could make to sound like a bagpipe but i thought it was near enough to work. As far as the rhodes synth thing at 2.29 i agree im not a fan of it myself but i wanted a variation to the bagpipe sound probably needs more work but im on to another track as usual gotta keep working or my brain stagnates that and having the attention span of a flea does not help my focus heeee :).
Wow TA!
I thought the same thing during listening to your track: it's an electro pop song
is it your own voice? it's unbelievable as the voice tone is fascinating! the instrumentation is awesome since the first second until the end!
The only regret i would like to say is that you didn't allowed us for a free download lol
i'm really impressed by your work! congrats!

Hey BEEP,
Indeed they are my vocals. I'm glad you like them. Usually I struggle to get a decent take. But this was pretty straight forward for once. As for the download, I'm sorry but I haven't quite finished the mix yet. But since you like it so much, feel free to email me at: toastedavalache@gmail.com
I can send you a copy when it's done :)
wow really nice vocals! On my speakers, the drums sound level is too low, the synth part stand out :) in fact the voice part, the synth part and the bass part are mixed at the same level but not the drums, it's difficult to hear the kick.
for a dance track, i guess it's not really a problem for listeners? i don't know, i rarely hear this music genre ^^
Except this small detail, the piece is magnificent!! congratulations Dan
really good feeling in it, U can be proud of this production Cru! special fav for the atmosphere which is particularly seventies! when i heard it i thought about the song "spacer" from sheila when she was in is disco period! great work!
wow i'm impressed by the sound quality and the professional level! it could be an ambient track without problem!
i will follow your link to see the game universe. Really good work!
what i mean by writing "chris spedding"?
i apologize but it will be easier for me to copy paste informations about Chris spedding from wikipedia :) i thought you knew him lol
Christopher John "Chris" Spedding (born Peter Robinson, 17 June 1944)[1] is an English musician, singer, guitarist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and record producer. In a career spanning more than 40 years, Spedding is best known for his studio session work. By the early 1970s, he had become one of the most sought-after session guitarists in England. Spedding has played on and produced many albums and singles. He has also been a member of eleven rock bands: The Battered Ornaments, Frank Ricotti Quartet, King Mob, Mike Batt and Friends, Necessaries, Nucleus, Ricky Norton, Sharks, Trigger, and The Wombles.
AllMusic has described Spedding as "one of the UK's most versatile session guitarists, [he] has had a long career on two continents that saw him tackle nearly every style of rock and roll, as well as sporadically attempting a solo career. The fact that he never quite broke through to stardom, except in his native England and parts of Europe, and in professional music circles, is more a result of bad timing and worse luck than any lack of talent or commitment on his part."[1]
Spedding pursued a solo career and released his debut album Songs Without Words in 1970. Since then, he has released fourteen studio albums, and two live albums. His solo albums have met no success, failing to chart anywhere, while his only single to chart was "Motor Bikin'"
Well well well! is it necessary Spiv to remember you i'm a huge fan of your work? :)
This kind of experienced the sound is your own signature! i'm really admiring by the obtained result!
The drums line is awesome and in the last part when you free the kick, hummmmmm... this sound! incredible!
To simplify: first hearing, on my speakers with a correct volume - second hearing: with my headphone, pumping up the volume at his maximum :D
i don't know if the following word are correct but let me tell you that unicity is yours, my friend!
Bleep, it is definitely not necessary to remind me, as it has become quite obvious that you are my biggest fan during these recent works. I thank you for this! The support you have given over the last year has not gone unnoticed, and I hope to return the favor in some way.
Of all the songs on the album, I feel that this one was a good example of going back to my roots in electronic music. It has the flavor of some of my favorite Iris-T-Shirt works, and also some elements which were present on my first couple of solo albums.
Part of this is probably due to the time signature, since I used to work in 5/4 time very often while taking breaks to listen to classic jazz records. Deliberate manipulation of political speeches also used to play a significant role.
I think that the whole last album is best heard in headphones, since much of the work was done this way. I required privacy and focus, so this works well. I also required freedom and exhibition, and this was only barely realized, unfortunately.
While unicity is not a word I have heard often, I can accept it as a kind compliment. The first dictionary definition I came across had this to say... "the quality or state of being unique of its kind." I could coalesce with that! Thank you!
As i wrote you this afternoon there's something from Chris spedding in this track.
The guitar lead make the job, it drives the track during all the duration, Let there be rock :)
It smells true, it sounds true! everything you want to hear from a band!
Hey Bleep! Chris isn't on this track, I sing on this one. And I'm not sure what you mean by "spedding", that is not familiar to me.
Thanks again for stopping by! This one is all about Jim's guitar which really set the tone for this one, it's his musical idea but lately he's been a musical juggernaut! I hope to record some of Jim's own songs in the future and also have him help on a few of mine as well.
i will comme back later to listen to your track again and completely! now, i apologize but i need to go back to work lol
sure, first impression, there's something of chris spedding in your voice and in the global render! i really like what i started to listen (until 02:00)
