wow brilliant electro pop song! at the beginning it sounds like the chase and when the vocal starts, it's only pleasure to listen to it! really good feeling in this one! the melt with rap is successfull!
congrates for this track
a title? what about "circulation"? i imagine myself driving on the highway by night with this sound on my speakers :)
for the track: i agree with zavvoos, i don't think it's a house genre, it's near progressive techno but is it really important? not really! i prefer tell you your work is amazing and well built. I like this heavy beat and, in fact, when i listen to it, i have this strange feeling that all the instruments overlap marvelously and form as a kind of rotation where from the idea of circulation :)
Be sure that if a dj play it in his set i won't stay without moving! perfect song for a party! i dl it
like always thanks for the kind words, when I'm making music i don't really think of the genre I'm gonna go for i guess i just let myself do the thing.
thanks again Bleep!!
ill add the name to my little list of names. lol
what a wonderful track! it's an unusual choice and it was a great surprise listening to it!
the fifties are back! you made this one successfully! the AM radio filter on your voice bring a brilliant result! and this classical bass line typical from this period: mmmmm good taste :)
For my part I see a touch of gorillaz / radiohead in your voice (around the resonance) but you have your own signature: a grain and a tone voice which are really nice! At any rate it's a beautiful ballad which you propose us here!
One more time, i was expected for a longer track. The duration is too short, i'm quite sure you can make an extended version.
this track will have his place in a dj set during a teknival. The ritmic is particularly energic with this heavy kick. It made a long time i hadn't listened to hardcore genre!
It's surprising to observe the sliding of the voice (at 01:34) which gradually bottom with the rhythmic.
For the one who does the effort to listen to with big attention, there is one concerns( of the detail which demonstrates the amount of work to obtain a group so coherent and harmonious! I went to your video link before listening here your track so i already had an idea about it.
People should see the video too, it shows what i said about your creativity!
Thank you Bleep for the continued attention to this track! I had not really thought of hardcore as a specific genre for this track, but it seems like some people agree in that respect. Much of the industrial which I listen to has many parallels with hardcore techno.
It has been a good feeling working towards my goal of being able to do "my sort" of music, but do it all live and in the moment. Before this past year, most of the live things I did on my own were very abstract and simple. One could probably use those words to describe this as well, but I know differently.
I hope to improve my video work, but I am just doing what I can with what I have. I like incorporating my gear that is build with super bright LED displays, since the flashing of the different colors blend with my ever-present smoke to create a bit of an old school light show. Technically can't smoke at most concerts any more, but still sometimes the bands will use smoke machines for that sort of effect.
I've been to distracted to spend much time in the studio lately, but did get a bit of recording done yesterday. Hopefully that will turn into some kind of psychedelic item in the near future.
hey Spiv, i was listening again to this fabulous piece and i wondered myself that your work is not only around the sound, it's visual too. would you accept to make a video clip showing you working on this kind of sound with your material? i will be really interested to see the performance because it's a performance!
Unfortunately, my video equipment is as outdated as most of my other equipment. However, I did record one today, just for you... and whoever else wants to check it out. It's bad quality, and you can only barely see my hand and my modular... but whatever. Spontaneously recorded when I got home today. Entitled "What Kinda Poison?"
this time i won't write in english i'm sorry but i don't find the right words in english so i'd rather let my comment in french :)
Ok, my english isn't the best but my french goes mostly around zero. But it looks like the grammar isn't that fare away from german, cause google did a almost good translation.
I really enjoyed your friendly words. I am happy that i did a track where you get something from that told you to write something in your nativ language. Cause it shows me that you really had the feeling that you should say something really in the way you wanted it. I really have to say thank you for that. And it is a pleasure to read that you find a connection between Leonard Cohen and me. Wow.
This mix is almost 2 years old and i believe that i right now a little better into mixing but i don't think that i am really close to a good mixing with (my) vocals :) I still learning by doing and maybe some day ........
Comments like yours encourage people to go their way further
hey Spiv, what an experimental sound experience! it's unbelievable what you can produce with only two synth! what i like in your work is that you can be sure that you never listened before.
By listening to your piece I did not see the time parading and as today it's my birthday, my wife offered me a new headphones with high audio fidelity... I have just inaugurated this audio headset with your piece, and with the sound depiction, it was actually a pleasant hearing experience! you permite us to dl so i do it :) really good work as usual!

PS: if you saw my answer on the track "the ending" i answered you i was ok for a collab :)
I am considering today a vacation, despite the work I am doing and that it is a vacation simply from what I know. As such, I read the first comment on this song with paranoia and deep inspection.
By the time I realized that you had inaugurated your birthday headphones on my new song, I was hooked. You have done me a favor, since I had some amount of unusual self conscious feelings in this case. You have helped those subside, and I thank you.
I just carried about a hundred pounds of joint compound and cement home for several blocks, and I'm going to make some pickles this afternoon, otherwise I may have held on to more of my energy. Be that as it may, I totally appreciate your words!
A little bit linear for me, i was expected for variations or breaks. In fact, the render is pleasant and i'm quite sure if you add a lead (synth or other instrument) your track will take some volume.
Hello Bleep
This was one of the first tracks i made with a DAW and it was the first one i made only out of loops. I found looperman and the loop section and had the feeling to see how it works (for me).
You are right when you say it could need something like a lead instrument but there where nothing in the loop section and i just wanted to do a track only made from looperman loops. Right now i could maybe "build" a lead line from a loop but back then i didn't know really how it work on my DAW.
But everyone can feel free to play something to this little track and record it. I would wonder how it sounds.
I am happy that you could invest some of your time to listen to this track.
hello Silver,
i took time to listen to it on your soundcloud so i don't discover it here! as i already said on soundcloud, your track is dope, with a darkness touch!
Yo Bleep thanks for your time and positive comments.
I can't get my head around Soundcloud at all.
Can't rearange track order.
I can't for thre life of me find the comment I made to you on there or any comments you made to me.
Was it here ..... https://soundcloud.com/jacksbackband ??
I heard Soundcloud may well be closing down.
I have no idea how true that may or may not be.
Always a pleasure to listen to your work. You are in your comfort zone with a genre which you master marvelously. The track is well built, sure you could do an extended version around 6/7mn without problem. If we take place in the logic of a deejay set, it's necessary to have time to mix it and i has exactly all his place in a set.
I download it, it a solid work and i'll take pleasure to make it listen to friends
Thank you for the review and thoughts means a lot, yes I have extended version but decided to go with this version, some on the loop don't like extended tracks when reviewing so thought I would stick with the short version on here...Peace mosaic...
hey there!
there's something of Morrissey in your voice. You remembered me the smiths a band from the eighties. I talk about the intonations but also in the atmosphere with highly-rated stabbing one.
I agree with Hemant37, during the listening of the piece, i had the impression that the sound was suppressed (i heard it with headphones, don't answer my audio headset is poor quality lol)
I don't know if i'm right but i believed to hear opposite sounds, as if they were inhaled and not expired. If it's the case, how do you arrive to create this kind of effect? i will be curious to learn new technicity :)
In general the piece evolves well, it is fascinating and very energetic! DnB is not so far from jungle. How is the bpm in this track? around 160 or more?
really good work, i'm definitively joined the resistance ;)
At 02:00 until the end When your voice up in the superior octave, shivers are guaranteed!!! About the instrumental part, nothing to say, it's perfect: nice beat, nice reverse fx, ...
A collab with an other rapper will be really interesting. I don't know how to say that in english but in french: "en somme, je verrai bien un rapper pour dire le texte parlé et ta voix pour la partie chantée."
i'm not really fan of this kind of house, too many singing vocals and the ambiance remember me "commercial tunes" like d. Guetta or others... i prefer underground sound lol but i respect your work and i'm sure you'll find people with positive comments (even if mine is not negative ;))
thanks for your comment, any kind of feedback from any perspective is appreciated. Progressive / mainstream house is sort of my style, unfortunately, and I wasn't planning on changing that :P
PS: What do you mean exactly when you asked whether "I can remasterised the sound"? I don't understand.
Yes! sometimes, you see "house" genre and when you listen, you desapointed! it's not the case here, for me, of course! We seem to have the same feeling in what we are waiting for house music!
i took a real pleasure to listen to this house track and i hope it won't be the last you will published here ;)
If you have a soundcloud, give me the link, i will had you in my following :)
