Sounds great. Very chill. This just needs the right vocals to bring it home. Luv to hear this finished with vocals. I'm a big fan of female vocals. This track is crying out for them. Whatever vocals you choose will be fine I'm sure, but I am very biased towards female vocals :)
Man, some really talented people her on the loop. Idk why, but I still get surprised by some of the music on here.
Imo, this is simply great. You definitely mashed the genres.
Lots of atmosphere going on. Luv the build up. The return of the lead violin at 2:57, then the tempo change at 3:26, just fantastic!
The intro actually sounds a bit like 60's psychedelic I thought. But then quickly goes into the undeniable 60's surf sound like it's straight off of a Ventures' album.
You put together a great track. The end result is upbeat and super fun to listen to but I can tell how much work went into arranging and producing.
Something you don't hear every day! What a pleasant surprise. Made my morning :) I faved
Thanks allot, RW. Glad you like it. Right...My stuff is not what you will hear much on Looperman. Even my collabs with Franco (Ferryterry) is a genre you seldom hear, here.
Terrific. Full of life. Very well produced and even a bit of 80s thrown in at 3:11. From that section on, it sounds like an 80s radio ballad. And I luv that!
Another cool track Joe. Your vocals make the song for me on this one. You laid down a driving, minimal track under your vocals thats really cool. Just enough here, a little FX there. Sounds great.
Well, it sounds great. but it definitely sounds like the start of or section of a bigger piece. Which is probably pointing out the obvious since you've named it in progress.
My suggestions, Danke had a good idea with slowing the tempo down. If you did that, I can imagine a Chillwave type of track taking shape. You can build the whole track around the main riff you have going. Drop in pieces here and there along the way.
About the main synth line. I would try taking the echo or reverb off it and see how it sounds. Maybe you already tried it, idk. But I'd be curious to hear how it sounded dry. It might leave more space open for other sounds. Does that make sense?
Just a couple ideas to consider as you try and flesh this out. You have the basis of a really cool track. Good luck with it!
took out reverb entirely for (except what is natural to that pluck sound - more in some octaves than others). sort of fleshed out first section. have a second section groove but need something on top of. then imagine a recap. thanks for checking in and helpful feedback. very much appreciated.
Good job Destero. Another well constructed rock song by you. I really enjoy your work and have a good idea what to expect when I listen to one of your tracks. You definitely have a certain production style in the way you put tracks together. Very cool.
Anyone putting out similar music on the loop should be jealous of your stuff! LOL
Hello RW,
jealous...honors me somehow >=0)but i do nothing else, i take a loop and put similar music on it, thats the way this track is born ,nice you like and thanks for your positiv review,DRO
Sounds like you have the basis of a really cool track here. Will be nice to hear it with the drums worked in for some kick.
In the production, I heard a lot of background noise. Kinda like it was playing on an actual record. Not sure what it was but it really distracts from the song. Plus, the volume seems really low so when you hit the vocal peaks, it gets really loud. Piano sounds good.
Smooth everything out and get the drums your after and this has real commercial potential. Good luck.
Great track Joe! Love the spacy Chorus. Great retro sound with the reverb. This track has it all. Im a fan of your work, i think i said this before.
As for changes, I like the minimal style you have know. But in my mind, I heard Kraftwerk underneath this. I know, i know, i hear Kraftwerk in everything, LOL. But if I remixed this, it would try to produce it Kraftwerk style.
But thats just me, probably not what you imagined with this track. But the way it is now, its very very cool!
Always nice to hear something from you.
And, yes you said it already befor but that dosend matter at all, cause it sounds every time you say it, extreme cool in my ears! :)
mmmmmm ..... Kraftwerk ..... I love them also a lot and all starts with there cool song - Ruck Zack - to me and not with the "younger" pur electronic stuff :) .... but i am not sure what kind of Kraftwerksounds you "hear" in your head when you listen to this piece of music.
But feel free to do a remix :) - If needed, i could make a acapella ....
Nice that you enjoy this version and give it a fav.
So thanks for the comment and the time u invest.
stay tuned
joe
Really cool track. Like the production here. The female vocals are terrific. Drums sound good, its all there.
My one problem is the rhythm guitar never changes. There is no stop-starts or high-lows with the rhythm guitar. It just strums the same throughout. I would of liked to hear a gap or sustained chords or maybe some plucking just to break it up. That's just my personal preference.
You have some production talents for sure. Sounds great!
RW
Yo RW,
like i said i didn´t expect that much praise for it rather i thought about to feature, but this is not the last Rock Track i wanna create and the next one is under construction, maybe you have a listen when it´s done ,hope that there is no problem with,(i think so),nice you could turn in and left a comment thanks a lot my friend hope to see you here next time when i finished my new work,DRO
This is great man. It sounds to me like an RHCP type song that isn't finished yet. It really has that sound. You have the Flea part down, now it just needs some laid back Frusciante style guitar work, some Chad Smith drumming to fill in the gaps and of course Kiedis style vocals to wrap it all up. I really don't know how realistic that is or if you could even be bothered going that route with this track. But I immediately heard that kind of song in my head.
Sometimes people outside the box hear things you'd never think of when composing. Maybe this could help this track go in a direction even if you just use one of the ideas.
Just my 2 cents. I enjoyed the track for what it is so far. It has tons of potential if you choose to work on it. Good luck :]
I did not think Chili Peppers at all when doing this one. Interesting that you heard that. But, if there were no interpretations, there would be no Rorschach tests, and we need those! Thanks for the listen and feedback!
Wow! I have no idea what is you or what are loops (probably a bit of both?) but it doesnt matter. This is a very melodic and well crafted song. I really enjoyed it. Thx for the upload.
So glad I finally figured out how to see the lyrics while listening (Im kinda slow lol). Heavy lyrics. Some great melodies happening here too. Love how the sweet intro drops right into the verse and the track takes an immediate different turn. Like how you used the dubstep sparingly, just a taste here and there.
No secret, I'm a Spiv fan. Gonna listen to other tracks on the loop but it'll be hard to top this. I faved 4 sho :)
RW
I appreciate you being the first to comment, and the fave is a sweet bonus! The verse parts were the main thing that was contributed by FarM, and which started me writing the lyrics. Glad you enjoyed reading the words too! I played the more rhythm oriented guitar parts, and took samples from the session to make the sampled guitar melodies. Was kind of fun. It's good to have a fan in you, and you already know I'm very into your music too! Hope you're doing good!
Well, I finally had a good 10 mins set aside to give the track a listen. I saw the track for a few days now but wanted to give it full attention...even if I was surfin' the webs :)
Another great track FR. You have skills at making enjoyable music. Fun. And of course the female vocals, I LOVE female vocals. Nothing goes better with house. Or with many genres for that matter.
I thought all of the 10 mins of this track was great. My fav of yours that I've heard to date. I faved.
Glad you could stay and listen to the full track. I know ten minutes is a bit too long for some peoples attention span (especially when they just drop in to bump their own track. But hey! I think we're all guilty of that from time to time)
Glad you liked the female vox. I bought some vocal packs from loopmasters and thats the first track i've done where i was actually able to use them. Hopefully more like this to come.
Cheers for dropping in.

Man, no one sounds like Billydragon. I like it when I see a new featured track of yours. That distinct voice, love it! I hope to work in one of your 'pellas one day.
As for the track, very melodic, very dreamy, very cool.
