Beautiful track. You did an amazing job with this, especially as a memorial. I am deeply sorry to hear about the loss. I do wish you and the family well. Phenomenal piece!

I must say, for your first take on dubstep, this is well done. It's in tempo (even when the tempo is increasing, it maintains tempo) and whatnot, until the many transitions, however I can't help but feel that there can be a little more happening in the background when the bass drops. 0:50 and on forth, just sounds like it's empty . Otherwise, nice.

Yo, I'm digging this. I like how this is all laid out. The only thing I couldn't shake was the slight repetition. But, I'm sure that would be easily ignored if there was a rapper killin' it, or something as such, know what I mean? That's just personal opinion. Nevertheless, I like this alot man!

I'm feeling with one, man. This is tight. The bassline goes along with the percussion perfectly. I am looking forward to the vocals, if any are to come. Cheers!

on Ecto9 - Music Is My Life Original Mix by Ecto9
Had a pretty slow, basic beginning, however; It caught my attention soon afterwards. I enjoyed the chilling sound movements. The vocals were also well arranged along with the song. Nice!

on Drop The Trap by dansjoy4
This track is dirty, in a very good way. The synth/bass used from 0:49 and throughout seems to be the main part. This is something that could be listened to while chilling with some fellas. I like this, man!

on The Truth Has Become an Urban Myth by Oneyearmuse
I did not expect this at all. I enjoyed this altogether. The intro caught my attention. I'm curious to the sfx you used. I like the simple bassline also. This sounds like something for a futuristic movie scene. Well done!

I wish I could say hand on heart that it is all mine but I'm far too honest by far. The bulk of the loops and samples came from Music Radar. The only 'sfx' I used was panning and volume control everything else is just the samples as they are. I merely arranged them into a song. I've got to start writing my loops at some point ;) Cheers for your comments.

on Defected by joshuasatan
This sounds like something that'd be an extended intro (or even an outro) for a REAL interesting song. Something dark, of course. I like the idea of that. Did you plan on doing something with this in the future?

joshuasatan
joshuasatan replied 19th Sep 2013 - 12 years ago
Yea it was intentionally Intended As an intro to a song but It didn't really fit the song So I took it out but didn't want to Trash cause I like the eerie vibe it has

This is without a doubt, very different. I like this alot. The Japanese lyrics add to the uniqueness. The intro was interesting. The gradual increase in volume then the main part suddenly starting was a great idea. Cheers~

on Tighten Up by Badhuman
This is fantastic! I don't see much funk tracks often on this site, but this really made my day. I greatly enjoyed the whole thing. This sounds like this is at a bpm around 120 - 125. This has me bumping from start to finish. Great work!

You're right it's 122 bpm. I grew up near King Records and this is the king of music we listened to. Fun to play. Thanks for listening and commenting.

on F U N K E N -You Know aka Subconscious Awareness 2 by Rats
This is obviously different, which is what I love. I also admire how you used the voices the way you did through the sound track. It was surprisingly on tempo, which I'd imagine to be difficult with the voices. Keep it up.

on kaoss pad 2 by hanginghighguy
This is a pretty simple song, consisting of a low pad and drums. I like the idea. If you are looking for a collab, I'd like to be able to work with you. The basics are already demonstrated so far from what you have. Perhaps a little bit more can get this really going. What do you think?

Hey! Nice ears to the bassline! It is a double timbre, and double score. I have learned this when I meet Merkaba at last Bolivian Lake Titikaka Psytrance Festival! This track bring this new tech about the bassline, and I hope to get more tracks with this special aproach! Thanks for Review!

on Dubstep Forward by BigPete
I was feeling this track a lot. It's without a doubt strong. The piano isn't something I'd usually hear in any Dubstep track, which is one of reason why I am impressed with this creativity. Also, the drum loop that begins at 0:29 was tight and easy to listen to. Nice work!

There's no doubt that this is a dance song. I'm really digging it. I'm curious though, what is the time signature on this track. I'm unsure if it is 4/4 time or something else. The tempo is precise, but I'm unable to detect the down beat. Regardless though, very interesting and fun track! Although this is 3 years from its release on this website, I'm glad I was able to come across and listen to this.

Thanks for your feedback! Im actually not sure of the time sig. ,When I get a chance to work on this AGAIN, I will fill you in! I am hoping that I can locate this file. However, I am thinking that it may be gone. But, this could be an opportunity to re-produce it? As I listened to this little number, I really cranked my stereo and thought...Wow!"'... I really like this one! Wouldnt it be nice to finish it? .....to be continued!

I really like this track! It's fast and uplifting, at least to me, and I find that incredible. Especially for a Jazz song such as this. It's not slow and calming, but more pumping. The synths are also a great add-on. Keep up the great work!
