If you have time take a listen and give Badhuman some feedback.
I'm not really sure why you've recounted that lengthy story about Mozart and Salieri. Presumably it's because I asked why you chose to do a particular thing with your track.
I was merely giving the honest feedback that I felt the drums I so liked were too quickly removed and then took too long to return. These are compliments and then just suggestions as to what I would do with the track if it were mine. But it's your track so do what you feel is best for it.
Really killer drums. For me, they really stand out. Is that a loop? Maybe not as it's also got some good fills.
Why did you take them out for so long ie between 0:30 and 1:20?
It feels like they should really come back in on 0:49. The perfect drop is there!
The last few seconds are pretty much the perfect ending for this sort of music. But I think you can improve this by lengthening it a bit and not having such a long section without those excellent drums.
I should add that I also liked all the other elements but I'm just focusing on the drums as they stood out to me and then you cruelly took them away!
Thanks for Listening and commenting. Not a loop. Why does anyone do anything.
EMPEROR: Well, Herr Mozart! A good effort. Decidedly that. An excellent effort! You've shown us something quite new today.
[Mozart bows frantically: he is over-excited.]
MOZART: It is new, it is, isn't it, Sire?
EMPEROR: Yes, indeed.
MOZART: So then you like it? You really like it, Your Majesty?
EMPEROR: Of course I do. It's very good. Of course now and then - just now and then - it gets a touch elaborate.
MOZART: What do you mean, Sire?
EMPEROR: Well, I mean occasionally it seems to have, how shall one say? [he stops in difficulty; turning to Orsini-Rosenberg] How shall one say, Director?
ORSINI-ROSENBERG: Too many notes, Your Majesty?
EMPEROR: Exactly. Very well put. Too many notes.
MOZART: I don't understand. There are just as many notes, Majesty, as are required. Neither more nor less.
EMPEROR: My dear fellow, there are in fact only so many notes the ear can hear in the course of an evening. I think I'm right in saying that, aren't I, Court Composer?
SALIERI: Yes! yes! er, on the whole, yes, Majesty.
MOZART: But this is absurd!
EMPEROR: My dear, young man, don't take it too hard. Your work is ingenious. It's quality work. And there are simply too many notes, that's all. Cut a few and it will be perfect.
This is fantastic! I don't see much funk tracks often on this site, but this really made my day. I greatly enjoyed the whole thing. This sounds like this is at a bpm around 120 - 125. This has me bumping from start to finish. Great work!
This is great man!
You have so many good elements here. Love the initial guitar riff (I would like to have it doubled by the bass in the break around 1:00 ...I can really hear it in my head).
The brasses are very well done. The rhythm guitar is a classic but you never go wrong with classic.
Really loved this small piece of music.

Description : 'Love will find you at the right time'...This track is about how we vibrationally attract love. From my recollection, in the early 20s/teen years, a typical place to encounter this wonderful force was the Disco. (Kay)
'I always wanted to produce a funk and soul song, as I love the rhythms and vibe. I hope you like my first attempt at this. Many thanks to Darren Hirst for his great bassline' - Oli.

Description : This is another Jazz/Funk composition. My brother on the Loop, BaoBou was kind enough to grace this track with his fire on guitar. Also, as a result of his contribution, I got inspired and added even more funk into the mix. Enjoy.
Description : This is kinda like a funky electro acoustic type thing. Definitely our funkiest piece yet, trying to explore a few different genres here, hopefully you enjoy it! :)
Description : Another one of the older tracks I'm gradually pulling out of storage to rework. For this little funk thing, I played a new bass, added some extra sounds, and remixed and remastered the whole thing. I hope you enjoy it.

Description : It a funky tune and its purpose is to make you move your heads and your bodies to the rhythm. Made with Steinberg's free Sequel 3. I really hope you will enjoy it.

Description : Continuing my journey with sampling. This was mostly an accident, and not where I originally thought it would go but I'm happy with the destination. I started with the track Real Reel Switcher by Eunice Russ Frost, which has a slower melancholy swing to it, however I've been playing a bunch of older video games lately, with SSX being in the mix heavily, so this track ended up taking on a bit of that for inspiration as well. Would love your thoughts.
