Description : Well I wouldn't say my normal stuff is a world away but I've never tried to produce anything like this. It's not finished, think my laptop needs a rest as the bass and synths are CPU heavy even at 6gb ram :/
Anyway, I guess you can call it dubstep (I understand that it's called something different (brostep?) for the dubstep heads out there or purists?) but for the general audience I guess electronic/dubstep will suffice although it is a little slow I might do automated tempo...

Again keep in mind this is my first (well second but my first was just playing around with the bass wobbles and whatnot) attempt at this type of music... Be honest though and keep that criticism constructive ;)
Oh and because it's only a draft there's little mixing done (and I think the drums need to be a lot more punchy).

Awesome combinations indeed! I do love the piano, always adds that special something I think. This is just put together beautifully I think. Definitely want to hear an end result to this one :)Fave for sure

Wow thanks a lot! Yeah, the first few years of learning music theory I also learned the piano so it's been with me since I really started, so personally I love it and I think tonally it can add a lot to a composition...
It's been on hold for a little while but I'm going to work on it soon and get a nice finished beat up!
Appreciate the comment and listen :)

Very nice, I like the mystic quality that it has.

That wasn't something I had in mind when making it but I can actually hear it now in the piano... It's interesting to see how different people interpret a piece of music differently.
Thanks for the feedback man :D

    Really good stuff MTG,
The contrast here has an amazing effect and you really produced it well. My only criticism is that its too short !
    Very interesting Dubstep indeed.

Thanks, yeah this is just a short part (Well half as it stands), I'm thinking of putting in a second drop later and changing up the piano after the first drop and variating the last half of the first drop.
Just thought I'd put the work-in-progress up for people to hear, especially people with a lot more knowledge in this genre then myself (which is little).
Appreciate the kind words and listen :)

I helplessly enjoyed this track. It's like...Dubstep on a level of relaxation, which is odd due to Dubstep being a pump-up type genre. I really loved the piano work, as well as the slow tempo. And can't forget about the bass! The transition from chill from 0:01 to 0:48 to 0:49 and further was absolutely unexpected, however enjoyable. Incredible work, my friend!

Thanks man, yeah im a pretty chill person but I like the drops and bass in dubstep so I thought I'd put 1 and 1 together, also it's a little throwback to how dubstep was back in the day :)
The drop does hit you off guard but I'd like to think the deep pad at the start of the song gives a somewhat 'ominous' foreshadowing to what is coming, as well of the buildup but it's quite a contrast.
Thanks for the comment and the listen though, appreciate it!

dig this track an awful lot - a little crispier perc as you say will really nail it - much, much respect

Thanks! Yeah, it's still got a bit of work until I'm happy with it but it seems like a sturdy foundation.
Appreciate the feedback and the listen.

Love the piano, so pure. Nice work!

Thanks man, yeah been trying to get that realistic sounding piano forever. Kinda ironic that the first time I use it is in a electronic beat...
Anyways appreciate the listen and comment!

Description : If you're looking for Skrillex and his cronies, you've come to the wrong place. It's not that kind of dubstep. This track opens with a nod to my fellow Vault Dwellers and Wanderers of the Wastes, and transitions into a deep, dark celebration of the Horror movie genre. Some of you will get it. Some of you won't. Either way, I hope you all enjoy it. Thanks for listening.------Edit: I fixed the abrupt ending. Now it trails out as it was intended. Take care. V.

Description : I've wanted to do a VIP of Alo Darlin for a few months now, and I've finally managed to do it. Im really quite pleased with the results. It lives up to the old song and more.

I've added a few new samples, another bassline, another higher-lead line, and I think i've got the mastering alot better this time. Its so much harder on the louder bassy songs, But after many tests I think its come out okay.

Please review!
*****Edit - Some people had commented on the fact that it didnt really have a whole lot of bass in it, So i've added a sub. The reason i hadnt done this before was because it was exporting rather muddily. Anyway I've managed to get it sounding just right, and fixed a few other bits in the song too. Much better!
