A fabulous track shining out from the noise of wannabes. You know I'm a percussion fiend, so my double thumbs up here should carry some weight. I love the arrangement here - the drums and shakers are at EXACTLY the right level and really emphasize what else is going on. In other words, for me that flute really stands out precisely because of the percussion you've got supporting it. And your sax playing...I understand the expression about "giving up my left nut" when I hear this kind of playing. I love the quality of musical "dialog" throughout this piece. A favorite to be sure.

SLAP your voice SHHHi. You just knocked me back all over again. Just cuz you're making my mind spin with your good stuff here, I'm having ideas ... like with your voice and the sax, you should do something that blends from one to the other in a delicately cohesive way ... kinda like you sing "You made me feel ..." and as you sing a fade out of feel, the sax fades in and you play on the sax how you feel. That would be awesome.

Love your voice, both through just yourself and through your sax. Is there a clever nickname for a sax? like a guitar is an axe? cuz i would have used it.

Hey Slap..a great 'up' piece....light and emotive,full of heaps of space and reflection..there's so much music that's right in your face these days and it's a pleasure to listen to something that has charm and a delicate sensibility about it,being an improvisational melody it has that wonderful reality that only comes from the heart....beautiful touch and very cool to boot..cheers Dave :)

I really liked this track. My one point of feedback, I played it speeding up to 1.4 in WMP, I think it really rocks at a faster tempo.

I realy don't think I am exagerating anything when I say that everything you tuch turn golden. It realy affects my mood in a very positive way when I listen to it. That being said, the backround guitar could have a more flavoured delay stereo-wise.
I kinda felt that the saxophone was done no justice by its soroundings.
