Great feeling inside this one!...it's interesting,I think most bands would be happy just with the backing track and lay some lyrics down then call it a day...and the result would be cool...however you use it as a launch pad for that amazing main squeeze of yours...everytime I hear one of these emotive tracks I learn something about the continuity of music, how fragile it is and how strong it can be....this is quite special..a beautiful piece...cheers Dave
Where oh where is Mr James Brown...he'd dig this stuff big time, come to think of it any singer would aspire to lay down on this groove...here's a simple equation..take one disproportionally gifted Yorkshire musician add a full woodwind compliment of instruments including guitar and bass...shake,rattle and roll and voilàyou have music that could only come from SlapJohnston....extraordinary!
yes man - you are incredibly talented - love this track - only complaint would be mix wise - would love some more bottom end on it - but the writing is fabulous and comes through any of those minor and of course, subjective imperfections. Thanx also for all the great loops you put up - I had fun messing with some of them tonight (and posted the track)- yer name is in the title so you should be able to find it easily enough LOL - you are awesome!
ohh yeahh this is soo smooth and funky gives off such a shake your booty kinda vibe such incredible bass and sax ,and the drums got a slight hip hop feel i love it
It is music like I wish I could make. I understand the packing process; after 2 minutes you're exhausted. I would like to have heard some bass sax though, some real reobust squawking like a Harveytoon soundtrack for bears sneaking through the woods. Nice.
i had uploaded the track that i sampled from you...hope you like the final result :D again 10x a lot for letting me do this it was fun and very easy because the track almost made his self
What a fabulous track!Once again, your music is so full of heart and soul.I love the effect on your guitar,I love to use it as well, and the chord progression.Your sax playing is cherry on top.Faved and one of my favourite looperman tracks ever!
Cheers

The title is perfect with this one - so breezy and light it's easy to drift away while listening. Great choice with improvisation here, as the sax both carries the melody, and the spirit of the song. The spirit here wouldn't have full voice if it was a fixed melody. Very nice.
Man this is one of the best I have heard yet. Anytime you want some drums that are specialized to your songs let me know. I use one shots instead of loops. I would love to write to your music. Not that you need it or anything. The drums in this are very tasteful. They are well done. I would just be honored to write with you.
