Definitely got a rocky, country blues thing going on. Great live guitar take too. Play it with a live band in the right kind of bar & the audience would love it. This is a very clean, professional sounding track. Great job.

I enjoyed this! The overall mix sounds pretty solid. Everything blended together nicely. If im being a critic I would say the vocals were a bit bland, perhaps some more reverb would of evened things out. I really enjoyed the lap steel. Good stuff, overall nice song.

Man you can tell those are some heavy gauge strings from that pick drag! My fingers are blistering up just listening to it! (ha ha) Cool track Wayne ! I love me some good Rockabilly. Epiphone hollow bodies are awesome guitars man. My Dad had an early 60's model Silvertone that he bought from Sears. It was a sweet guitar which I believe was actually manufactured by Danelectro. He could play this kind of stuff. You guys nailed it here bro, and props to you on that bass track. I hope you slicked your hair back and rolled up the t-shirt sleeves daddy-o. Makes me want to fire up the Merc and head to Mel's for a malt and flirt with the teeny boppers !!!

The guitar is obviously a driving force here, but all aspects come together to make this such a potent song. I found your vocal work to be a bit out of the usual that I would expect on your profile, and in a very good way. Soon after they came in, I started thinking about Primus, or more specifically Primus songs which are not as much based around insane fretless classical style wandering bass solos, but more based around rocking out and making a lyrical point. I'm sure the rural twang in your voice added to this impression, but it was also the guitar parts which reminded me a lot of the style of Larry LaLonde.

This political climate is surely an interesting and frustrating state of affairs. The election year and the year since has finished the job of ruining my trust in our current system. I will most likely discontinue voting for federal officials until the electoral college is done away with. I can no longer consider myself a liberal, and that term seems to be more of an insult than anything now. I can barely see the lines between republicans and democrats, nor can I believe that things would be much different if things had turned out different in the election.

It's funny in a way... last month I got elected to our neighborhood association board as the "neighborhood development chair." I was to be a go between from the citizens to the government agencies (city council, parks board, etc...). The position lasted all of two weeks before I was forced to step down. In discussing neighborhood issues with some citizens, and then having several of my responses censored by other board members, I realized all at once that there was no way I could represent these people. They offended me, I offended them, I wanted nothing to do with their plans, and they wanted nothing to do with my suggestions. It all comes down to too many people who are not willing to be part of the solution, but are all too prepared to contribute to the problems they complain about.

Sorry, I guess your song just brought things up, which is a good thing! People need to start thinking and observing more deeply, rather than just letting everything get out of hand.
