Superbe morceau que voilà! pour ma part (chacun y verra ce qu'il veut, notre culture musicale est propre à chacun lol), j'y retrouve des influences de groupes 60's comme Creedence Clearwater notamment sur l'ambiance globale du morceau.
Mention particulière à la ligne de basse: superbement groovy qui moi me rappelle celles de Gallup.
Félicitations pour ce morceau! et en effet, pas sur que cette version instru s'enrichisse de paroles :)

Really enjoying the bass guitar throughout. I would have overdone it and ruined it. You made it tasteful and interesting, and with a great tone.

You describe the way I most enjoy doing music Wayne...I very seldom do anything but one takes on guitar & bass...& if I screw up too bad I just hit delete & start again or it is what it is...actually this whole thing sounds damn coherent to me...and my mind is catching a bit of the old Surfer Music vibe (and thats where I first started playing...Ventures...Shadows..etc...)

This should have vocals about murder betrayel and some more murder; got a nick cave feel to it so that's why. Cool piggy sound for the bass, i like the grawl.

I like the live jam sort of feel to this one! Those one take recordings can be gems a lot of the time, and I would say this is one of those moments. The bass playing is quite cool, and puts me in mind of the recent New Order album, after Peter Hook left. Very stylish rock style, which is very much the style I've come to know from you, and you alone. Very groovy and fun! Dig it! Fave!

Not much i can say that others have not already said. Pure piece right here man. Everything is very warm and inviting. If i ever learn to play the guitar, I'll send you a link to my first acoustic track. I however first need to learn piano to a mastery degree, the piano is my ABSOLUTE favorite instrument. Not even the guitar beats it in my opinion, no diss to guitar players though lol Flawless execution here brother, peace

Well call me a big ignoramus but i don't know what a toreador is. Souns like something that you might get served along side a taco or something. I'm guessing i'm in the right area as it does have an air of "Desperado" (brilliant movie with Antonio Banderes)
Everything has gelled together niceley unlike the hole in the wall i just made attempting to do some D.I.Y.
Really like the vibe of this piece, are you using metal buckets for the persussion? It's very inventive.
I'm glad i dropped in for this as it's a great style and i think you should do more like this.

Hey - good reply. The noise isn't too big a deal here. I just tend to point this sort of thing out in reviews in case the person making it hasn't noticed.

I've uploaded tracks that had a really obvious need for some parts to be EQd and noise removed but no one said a thing! So I tend to point it out as I know in the past I've been in denial about it and other problems being there.

Anyway, you will definitely want to check out Calexico - excellent group. I'd recommend the albums Black Light and Feast Of Wire and make a friendly bet that you will love them.

As regards you writing "a lot of Latin/spaghetti western/southwestern styles of music", my music theory and knowledge of harmony or chords is awful. I've never studied any Asian or Middle Eastern music but it comes out quite naturally in me. I think it's when I start doing semitone or tritone stuff - to stop it being discordant or too evil-sounding I find the notes that seem to work and that often comes out as Eastern sounding.

Maybe, somehow, there's something you do that makes the Latin/spaghetti western/southwestern naturally come out. Not sure if that's using A minor. Probably something else as well.

Anyway, cool track so keep it up.

sounds dm good to me Wayne....def western vibe but with that blues feel....there is something to be said about keeping the mixes basic/a bit sparce (something I forget to do often)...it sure does let each instrument play its part effectively in the mix....and you have a nice clean mix going here....great job....Ed

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that you're a big fan of Calexico. I am too.

I don't really think of this track as blues - more the Calexico kind of western/desert/Mexican/Spanish kind of atmospheric, moody and melodic vibe.

Definitely perfect soundtrack music for any sort of Western or anything set in a North American desert. Or could be fun to use this on a soundtrack for an American or Mexican travelling in an African or Asian desert.

Cool guitar and simple movement of the drums. Only complaint is that there's too much noise on the track. Maybe you could find a way to remove it. But the noise doesn't interfere too much with the enjoyment of the piece as I can still hear everything clearly.

Wayne...agree with Evan, this is soundtrack music from the first class...I imagine an American-Spanish-Mexican cooperation with Tarantino, of course...fantastic atmosphere flying around this small 3 minutes...

This very much sounds like it came from Desperado, or Once Upon A Time In Mexico. The whole thing is great, but I like the intro the most. The sounds of preparation, always a nice addition.

Love the guitar especially since I created a track with all guitars in it, the use of the harp is very nice too. Something to add to my play list in the car I think.

I like this. I particularly like the guitar. It could have been just that guitar, by itself, and still have been just as powerful. That's my opinion anyhow. Thank you for giving us this.
