Geeez, I've been kidnapped by aliens again! and this is what they're playing as they cruise the universe :p Good description 80's punk electro made in a garage, maybe on mars? :D Love the lyrics!! Hahaha no money come monday so go shopping anyway ;) thump the detective and run free! Good one :D you are a bad influence telling people to do bad things! ;)

Hello phatkatz4

thanks for this nice comment :)

:) You are not the first one who told me that i have bad influences. A mother wrote mostly the exact same to an album i made once - ....he has an bad influence on the listener and his music let children, who listen to this, have a bad sleep ... - but she liked it anyway :)

Nice to know that you like this one
But i am still working on it ......

hey joe! always a fan of your stuff man! I really like how you structured this song here, I mean: in placing different elements of the composition to get the efficiently differentiated track (if that makes any sense haha:).
you know, I am in love with some particular album from Tangerine Dream https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aOHeg3XitM Few years ago I bought this old vinyl but couldn't really recognize the real value and power of this particular one then (it is still one of the less popular TD recordings I guess). All in all this is one I was listening the most from this excellent group!

Your electronic is much heavier than that! German Electronic rules! haha

I really enjoyed this one,

Alex

Hello Promenade2239

I dont know if it realy make any sense but it sounds cool :)

When i was younger i didn´t listen much to TD cause they where so "soft" :) ... in that times i was realy more into punk ebm and dark wave stuff ..... now i can enjoy also stuff they made ...... :) time makes you softer

Nice to know that i done this one so the way that you could enjoy the listen :)

Dein Song erinnert mich absolut an meine Jugend in den 80ern,dir ist eine tolle Mischung gelungen mit dem Sound von damals und moderneren Elementen.

hey you got some nice moves on that gitar, you saying you a bad gitar play that isnt true :)
joecramer
joecramer replied 28th Apr 2015 - 10 years ago
what you hear isn´t me playing guitar. it´s a loop from xyilent. i changed tempo and add tones of fx on it. so after that it sounds like a kind of a guitar
- here is the original -
http://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/82443/xyilent-fast-bass-pluck-by-xyilent-free-160bpm-drum-and-bass-synth-loop

And believe me, most peoples with a guitar around here, can play better then me :)

PS: it would be nice if you post things like this in the forum. There is the better place for doing a "slow chat"

on kaufen ohne Geld - buy without money by joecramer
Hi MrJoe,
I wish you good luck: buying with no money is not an easy thing... you must be able to run very quick :-)
Interesting concept for this song: the main riff is really "obsessive" ... it would be interesting to hear it developed further with more drums/synths. Looking forward to hearing this song growing!
Ciao, Domenico

PS: "Gis" is an example of a German chord. Nobody outside the German country will understand that this is a G# :-)
PPS: do you know about Rafael Fellmer? http://www.raphaelfellmer.de/
...but given the song title I assume Yes ;-)

joecramer replied 27th Apr 2015 - 10 years ago
Hello Domenico.
Thanks for your comment.

:) ok ok. Now i understand what you did mean. But believe me, i am realy not good into this stuff at all. There are also this Ges and Des things..... i think it depends on the side where you come from? And i heard that a Gis should be an Aes but is in fact a Ess wow ..... and then this B or H ... come on :)

I wonder if there are loopers around who could deal with this kind of music :) but if not, then i think i have to doit by myself :() ...... i have millions of things in my head but i cant play real good drums and guitar.

I will post newer versions

yeh but bad news i cant rap for a bit of time because of noise in my mic, but i was thinking about your vocal and we both mix it but i really like your work. and soon as i find a way to record something we could do some ft, i never mind to mix language, i leaning now to make my own sound. and sorry sometimes i delete tracks.

Hey centralsdev, i listen to your track but i think i have to wait until you done your (danish) rap on it. Cause so it´s not to easy to see where it goes to (hard, agressive, soft friendly).......
I am always open for collabs, right now i would like to see what stem or stems you could do to this little track. If i am not totaly wrong it is something like F-F-Gis-A.

Hi Joe,
Nice little gem: of course I had immediately to think at Kraftwerk... and that's not because you are German. It really makes me think to the kind of sound experiments they were doing.
And I agree to the comment of MrCentralsDev: I found it more of an "inside" trip than a space odissey. ;-)
Beside the jokes, for me this type of music stimulates more of an "inner trip".
Very good one!
Ciao, Domenico

Love & Peace & Pfannkuchen
...or should I say Eierkuchen? :-))

PS: Cis and Dis... would have been a cool title!
By the way, I am playing with some colleagues at work and these German chords are always driving me crazy... the difference between a H and a A is not so evident for a poor italian guy :-)

Hey Domenico

Often or better say mostly, i realy dont know in what chords i am playing or working. And it could be that this track is Am7 or anything else, cause i dont know it. I just played around on dis and cis and friends of them :)

Nice to know that you enjoyed your -inner trip-
And thanks for your Kraftwerk in older times comparison, thats realy friendly.

Thats no problem at all.

I had that feeling and thats it. A few others had the almost same feeling but that dosen´t mean any. Dosen´t have to work for you the same way. But it work in a way, cause you got some feelings. Thats great! Thats all i wanted to do :)

And this - inside the unknown , with some sounds coming from the inside - is also a cool thing ....

Thanks for the listen and your time

The bass in the intro hit me hard, and I was quite impressed! When the other instruments began to enter, I got the profound feeling that I had heard this before. As far as the ambient genre goes, this is quite cool and vintage sounding. I wish Ian Curtis was around to do some vocals for this one! Nicely done!

Hey Spivkurl
I tryed to find words for this but didn´t found any. So i would be happy if Ian would do something to this track. Or any other who get words for it.
This bass is a sample from myself. I used it for -Halt mich- and in this track here i used lot of stuff from the intro of that song too. So maybe you listen to it befor or it just sounds like something you listen befor :)

....... ah ja Ian Curtis, that would be cool .......

:) Happy to hear that you missed it.

Indeed, i could need one of this loops (or maybe more then 1) for my - alien tribe conection - video i want to make next .....

I looked around for some nice space pics and hubble space telescope offers realy some amazing ones and in extreme good quality (over 6000x8000 and higher if needed). But it is a lot of work to make a flight thru more then one pic :)

Nice to hear that you enjoyed the little trip.

I love the simplicity of this track. It's a brilliant little gem I reckon.

That special type of effect I'm guessing a phaser effect gives it that trippy vibe.

That line 'trip from somewhere into anywhere outside' really played tricks on my mind. Faved this one Joe.

Also cool to know that the "line" "worked" in that way with your mind, ´cause i hoped, in a way, that this would happend .......
I cant say what effect it was/is ´cause this track is a new song, mixed over and into an older remix of some stúff from myself ...... but i think it is just a "vst work."

on Apocalypse 2015 - revolta2 version by joecramer
When I listen to songs like this created by you, and read the translation to english, I always get the reinforced feeling that I need to move to Germany sooner rather than later. If these lyrics communicate your true feelings, and there are others there who feel this way, then maybe I and my wife would fit in there. It seems like people in the US are so comfortable (and complacent) that I have grown to hate all of them, even family and those who were close friends. I firmly believe that the current course we are on as a human race will destroy everything which is of true value.... very soon. Your song speaks to me. Doesn't matter what synth you used here, you made an excellent expressive piece. Reminds me of when the only synth I had to work with was the Casio CZ-101. The good old days. Now it doesn't even turn on... I could fix it if I wanted, but it is like a shrine or grave stone in my studio. Amazing work! Faved!
joecramer
joecramer replied 27th Mar 2015 - 10 years ago
Hello Spivkurl

The lyrics are truely what i feel when i look around. When i wrote them i realy hateted all this "others" out there. Stupid little humans with no real live ...... Right now i am not so extreme any more but thats is maybe just the way how -being a father- change things to see. So right now i believe that it is not right now the time of the end :) and i hope that the times of the sighns isnt start already. But to be true, if i look around right now and think about the "others" i am not sure that this freaks will change the world to a better place......
And it is hard to say but i didn´t found much germans with the same feelings about the world and the meaning of live :)
So maybe you will not find here realy where you looking for. Best way to get out of all this -problems- is just focus on yourself. Switch on your inner light and start to shine. Forget all others and be just a clear light with no needs in getting of anything. Be part of the "right feelings" nothing more nothing less.
Nice to know that this song gives you so much feelings.
So thanks for your comment and chareing your feelings and the fav.
