I tryed to find words for this but didn´t found any. So i would be happy if Ian would do something to this track. Or any other who get words for it.
This bass is a sample from myself. I used it for -Halt mich- and in this track here i used lot of stuff from the intro of that song too. So maybe you listen to it befor or it just sounds like something you listen befor :)

Wie du schon beschrieben hast: Augen zu und abheben in fremde Galaxien. In meiner Vorstellung geht die Reise am Ende weiter. Ich höre wie die Euphorie langsam ausfaded und die Wirklichkeit, Stück für Stück Gestalt annimmt. Es ist eine dunkle und unwirtliche Wirklichkeit. Leise, düstere Klänge die dein Herz umschlingen...

Indeed, i could need one of this loops (or maybe more then 1) for my - alien tribe conection - video i want to make next .....
I looked around for some nice space pics and hubble space telescope offers realy some amazing ones and in extreme good quality (over 6000x8000 and higher if needed). But it is a lot of work to make a flight thru more then one pic :)

That special type of effect I'm guessing a phaser effect gives it that trippy vibe.
That line 'trip from somewhere into anywhere outside' really played tricks on my mind. Faved this one Joe.

I cant say what effect it was/is ´cause this track is a new song, mixed over and into an older remix of some stúff from myself ...... but i think it is just a "vst work."

The lyrics are truely what i feel when i look around. When i wrote them i realy hateted all this "others" out there. Stupid little humans with no real live ...... Right now i am not so extreme any more but thats is maybe just the way how -being a father- change things to see. So right now i believe that it is not right now the time of the end :) and i hope that the times of the sighns isnt start already. But to be true, if i look around right now and think about the "others" i am not sure that this freaks will change the world to a better place......
And it is hard to say but i didn´t found much germans with the same feelings about the world and the meaning of live :)
So maybe you will not find here realy where you looking for. Best way to get out of all this -problems- is just focus on yourself. Switch on your inner light and start to shine. Forget all others and be just a clear light with no needs in getting of anything. Be part of the "right feelings" nothing more nothing less.
Nice to know that this song gives you so much feelings.

Ah yes - Laibach. That's one of the groups I was thinking of but I couldn't remember their name.
Good to hear the apocalypse won't be happening in 2015. Let's put it off until at least 2016. I've actually done a huge amount of music work in the last two years. I've made a whole long album in just the last two months.

Yes, you did perfectly! Could not be more German.
Waiting two minutes for the vocal works fine because your ambient vibe and simple groove is easy to listen to and, while you're listening, it sounds like it's probably going to be an instrumental anyway so I'm not waiting for and expecting a vocal (as with a rock 'n' roll song).
I think what I wrote before was not clear. I wasn't saying that I would play this track for other people. What I meant was that I would not mind if I went round someone's house and they played this track, perhaps while we were talking or something. There's a lot of music that I choose not to listen to but son't mind hearing eg at someone's house or at a club or in a shop etc.
Best of luck with any more mixing and mastering. The track doesn't sound like it needs much more work.
In a way it is funny how much Laibach sounds, for an english ear, like a german band ......
Nice to know that you think it is already a good mix/master.

From an English perspective (mine) this is so very, very German. That may sound extremely obvious as you're singing in German but I'm also talking about the music. Very minimalist and perhaps like some of the German bands from the 70s/80s who I don't listen to eg Amon Duul, Tangerine Dream. I'm not quite sure as I don't listen to those sorts of groups.
It's a cool, simple groove. Not really that dark - just melancholy. All the synth work sounds good and I like how you wait 2 mins to bring in the vocal. It's really very chilled out.
I wouldn't choose to llisten to this at home but would be happy for someone else to put it on. Also good soundtrack music. And it's well produced so congratulations again.
Finally, is it really the acpocalypse in 2015? If so, I better finish some of my many albums as that will probably be quite difficult in a post-apocalyptic world (maybe no electricity).

Ok, first - NO, the apocalypse will not come 2015! :) I´m sure. But if it brings you to work more on finishing music things ..... :)
I do this apocalypse thing since 1985/86 and there are a few difrent versions out - The first version was just - Apocalypse - all others get a year in the name, the year when i made it.....
This "german" thing is intresting, cause when i listen to this version, i have more stuff from the 80´s in mind like Laibach and so but maybe the influens of this "older" stuff is sooooo big :) but i am not a real big fan of them (to slowly for me when i was young). That a german voice sounds german, ok sure and in this special case i tryed to sound so much german that i could. So you got that point and thats cool! Same with this "dark" thing, i just wrote - it is a bit dark .... a (deep) melancholic feeling goes for the most into the "dark" direction .....
I didn´t go for this groove in the beginning but when i found that sound while playing with the vst, i know i had to use it. Sometimes (thats my opinion) music needs some time to come to the point where the vocals should start. And here the music just needs this 2 minutes to go there.
Nice to hear that you would play this for other people but you should maybe wait a little with that, cause this version isnt mixed and masterd realy. And i think i should do that, not for this comp thing but just for that track himself.
So thanks again for all the time you spend, until now, with listen to my music and all the friendly things and opinions you always write.

That was right the point i try to go to. Make a track with just 1 vst and let it sound mostly so that it fits to the idea behind.
Nice that you think it works in a way.
-When i started making music (at least 35 years ago) we did all our music just with 1 cheap yamaha keyboard (i forgot the name of it, but it was a mini key one, with a very easy ADSR thing) and it works well) So i think it isn´t to hard to do a track just with just 1 vst ......

I think i will do a rework of this track, cause i had a lot of audio problems and could not realy "play" the music, just programming it.
So lets see how it will sound then :)
In a way i can understand your opinion on the SFX but on the other side, i love it right the way it is ..... mmmmm but maybe it is a bit to much.

And right now, i am on a point where i can make realy much easyer/better music then i done it here :),
cause i checked out all my midi/audio/asio/daw/win8.1/vst problems and fixed them :)
.... NOW I CAN PLAY AND LISTEN at the same time and also can change things while playing ..... jippy :)
If i see or better say listen to the other tracks in this comp/contest, then i think i should do a real mastering and so on ;) cause noone does a real only one vst thing

:) We had a lot of fun makeing it. And it was recorded in parts in Padaborn and at my hometown. Never more then 2 "worked" together at the same time. But it is still some of my personal most loved song to xmas time ....

My/our real first band - the tacktless once/die Tacktlosen - in a shed somewhere deep in the german north. Let it be the 3rd time we 3 played together, maybe it was the 2nd. You will hear a song about a guy, with black shoes, black glasses, black gloves, on his way to "his" girl, cause she cant see his black shoes ......

No, you don't need to take pills for making music. No unless you've got some particular medical problem.
Interesting to hear about your working method. I'm similar as I also try to go with the things that I feel really inspire me. My simple belief is that good parts that I really enjoy are most likely to inspire other good parts and riffs and new ideas. But if I only think something is OK/average, I won't really care much about it and probably won't be able to come up with anything to improve it.
So, I think it's good that you gave up on the FR direction when you felt the power of that Anubis drum groove.
One idea is that if you doubled the tempo of the Anubis beat, it would be much more suitable for doing an FR track. So, maybe a fast, tribal dance track. You could try doing that and seeing what happens.
I find that the same good groove at either half or double tempo (half if it's already fast, double if it's slow) makes me play other instruments in a different way. That's one reason I have lots of double time/half time tempo changes in my tracks. The same riff usually sounds good on top of a fast or slow groove.
Just a few ideas for you.
I will check out your other Anubis track.
Maybe he will return to Looperman sometime. He is a talented musician/producer and also seems to love a lot of my music.
Itz someting that is almost 16 years old - a special mix, made from two life tape recorded rebirth session from 1999.
Soundquality could sure much better but it is much closer to FR then my music sounds normaly. If FR not made music then already, then he makes maybe music in my "older" style :) ???
This is also a kind of a StaticNomad track :) cause it is over 20 minutes long.

The sound-image of your track reminded me of SeriousSam PC game soundtrack. Don't ask me what version - I played it over 10 years ago. Truly I was never into an alien-vampire kind of thing ever but this one opens up a space to many possible interpretations for sure!

I think so, maybe i am wrong.
But i love pictures and feelings and emotions to talk and or write over music. That gives me so much more then a "technical ok" or else.
