Description : I'm not an expert on gospel music, but this track reminded me of the Blues Brother's movie where Belushi was in the church. It's very energetic with lots of things going on and of course, lots of drums! Jazz fans will also like this track. Give it a listen and PRAISE THE LORD!Search Rating : 4.29

Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).Search Rating : 4.29

Description : Funky mellow jazz looping tune I put together after a friend of mine told me he had been laid off. Used driving Drum Beat(the grandma)who never gives up- the Bass (grandpa)who adds some advice one in a while and the other instruments reflect a family's pain in discussing what just happened. Hope you enjoy the tune and that no has to experience being Laid Off.Search Rating : 4.29
Description : 'In Paris With You' is a poem by James Fenton about breaking up. I found this audio reading of that poem a few years ago on the net (gone since, would like to give credits). I took out the parts of the rendition that fitted the mood of this track. The sensual singing is by Janis71 (merci!), courtesy of LooperMan. I went for an 'early Enigma'-sound combined with a lazy jazz-trumpet and rich ambient violins, giving it the big city-feel I love so much in soundtracks like Last Tango, Taxidriver and work by Lalo Schifrin (the melancholic parts of Rollercoaster). This is also a hommage, certainly, to Serge Gainsbourg.Search Rating : 4.29

Description : I haven't uploaded anything in awhile, cause I have such a difficult time picking out which track to delete to fit a new one in, but I did anyway. This is a track reminiscent to the early jazz/soul tunes of the day. It reminded me of Ramsey Lewis Trio's 'The In Crowd' hence the title. It has some nice piano, bass, horns, and my signature drum solos. Hope you enjoy.Search Rating : 4.29

Description : Dear LM fellows,Just finished a new lounge track. This time I used the beautiful vocals of Katie Bregman (kbb0), sax by Neongroover and woodwind samples of Planet Jazz Bass (don't know the intrument unfortunately). Many thanks to them.
Hope you like the result and only thanks to your comments I will be able to improve myself every time...
Best, Doc

Description : This one's a little mild for most listener here, but thought I'd toss it up here in the event some may want some basic 'feel good' music. The drums give it a bit more life than your basic 'elevator music." It's kind of Latin/Jazz with some orchestral feel to it. Hope you like.Search Rating : 4.29
Description : Scottb55 has recreated the sound of postwar jazz to the letter. I hope the Native Flute is compatible. This was a stretch for me, but a lot of fun.Search Rating : 4.29
Description : This one's a bit unusual even for me. I've always loved that really old jazz, but could never get over the terrible sound quality, so I never really explored it much. This track is (somewhat) reminicent or those early tracks. It reminds me of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, hence the title (nothing to do with the Django movie.) It starts and ends with the poor quality simulation even with the record scratching (but not through out the track.) I tried to use a combination of vintage and modern sounds and instruments. I don't expect many to like this, but no need to slam me for it. Some may appreciate it.Search Rating : 4.29

Description : Well I thought I would get festive and do a Christmas Track. When I was a kid, Charlie Brown , Snoopy and the Gang was always a favorite of mine. This is the track is the jazz song that aired on the special (with a few fun twists of course!). I just played guitar and a little bit of keys, the rest was a free backing track I came across. Comments always welcome. The best of the holiday season to you and yours. BilbozoSearch Rating : 4.29
