Description : The backing track for this was DanielGtrman's "Dat Old Rhythm & Blues" which fit so well with some lyrics I wrote up a while back. After some minor tweaking of the lyrics, I recorded with Pro Tools LE, MBox2 Mini, and a B.L.U.E. Bluebird Mic. This is the 2nd take, with minimal editing.

The Blues man comes to town !!! If there's ever a "blues night" in one of your local clubs where anyone can turn up and do their blues thing, the you HAVE to do this live somewhere. They say the only way to sing the Blues is if you're knowing or known the pain...This really comes across in your singing Mark. All Hail the BluesMeister !! I'm a blues addict and I'm certainly hooked on this track you have come up with. I would like to hear what you can do with a much slower Blues track.....so possibly a collab could be on. Great song..Lurrve it !!

Thanks for that Daniel. I am in total agreement about a collab. Shoot me something you have in mind, I'll gin up some lyrics and we can "BLUES" it again together. Thanks again for the backing for this one...I need to show the vocals a little "studio love", and it can be much more refined. You might also like these tracks

Description : Did you ever have those days when you are totally distracted? Description : so having been inspired by our girl Rita singing the blues I threw myself in and had a go, i went at it with full gusto, i think soul, blues are hard to hit because the singers always have fantastic voices lush females and deep soulfull males with great baratone vocals, i obviously don't have the greatest voice, but you gotta have belief in yourself first, yes i put emotion into my lyric delivery so this was a stretch, its less Teddy Swimms more dimestop sings :)) i'm sure you'll let me know

Description : This is a tune dedicated to my friend, Nancy, who followed me to the clubs I played at for years, and is still following me with my studio work. Why do I dedicate this to her? Description : guitar on right run thru my friends mesa rec 25. It has an absolutely gorgeous tone. The guitar playing D, C #, B is run thru guitar rig 6. The the pushed back guitar on the left is also run thru the mesa. My UNC chapel-hill decision letter is coming out tomorrow and I'm super stressed. Whipped out my guitar and recorded some stuff. Hope you like it.

Description : A sultry, seductive, and fairly short acoustic blues number. It is an instrumental and only took about 2 hours to write, record, and get a decent mix. Enjoy! Updated: I added some slight echo to the electric guitar and widened the stereo fields of the acoustic rhythm and leads.

I am performing the following instruments...vocals, electric guitars, slide acoustic, bass, harmonica, organ. I wrote the following instrument parts in MIDI....drums, percussion, piano, horns. This was a beast to master but I think it turned out okay.
No loops used.
