I have not seen genre bending like that since......... I don't know. Great work here. To bring together the elements you have and create such an interesting and enjoyable piece is testiment to your ear.

The only instrument I play is the computer, so you are already doing well. Had a bit 50's sound to it, and if rei4real says good job on the strings, then good job. I couldn't get into the beat as it didn't seem to synch, but if you say it is improvised, then it doesn't matter, because Jim Morrison didn't ask what people thought about their improv...

Just keep do your thing, and you will get better at doing your thing.
