Description : EDIT: I fixed the track... if I'd realized it didn't work I would have redone it right away, but never thought to hit listen. It plays now. -had to reupload the mp3 again. I was stunned to find out about Trey's passing. I saw Mr Robot's dedication to him on Saturday and was gutted when I found out...I only knew him a short while but had a huge amount of respect for him both musically and personally. When he stopped emailing me I never dreamed it was because he was gone...it's a shame to see someone die so young. I had this song nagging at me for 2 days before that, and decided to take it as a sign I should record it. I was originally thinking doing it a la karaoke, but decided to be a bit more adventurous and do an electronic cover instead. I used all VSTIs and Acid Pro. Rest in peace Trey, you'll be missed. x

It really made me feel inspired inside to be able to come back to the site, and see that you're still kicking out some of the most amazing and beautiful tracks that I have ever heard. Amazing job with this song, your voice never ceases to take breath away.
You're truly a gift to the world of music in my eyes.
Heya Slap :) When I found out about Trey it hit me really hard. I didn't know him that well, but I felt like we had a kinship at least in certain areas... and his age was enough reason to feel like he should still be alive. When my dad passed, I recorded a song for him.. I realized it was a good way to mourn.. and since this song had been nagging at me the 2 days before I found out about Trey, it was the obvious choice. Thanks for listening. x
Absolutely beautiful. A very haunting redition of a song, great in its right, but surpassed by your performance. Love your vocal, darlin'. An incredible track. I'll add it to my favs and download it.
Thanks John, I'm glad you liked this one... I was worried people would be annoyed at me for ruining the integrity of the original lol but I just had to try it anyway. Thanks for listening!

Hah, I don't care if you smoke a blunt to my music ;) To each his own right? I'd probably smoke it more if I actually had free time with no kids in the house lol. Thanks for listening, I'm glad you liked it :) Your avatar pwns btw ;)
The song was calling my name, I had to answer. I had a feeling there was a reason for it so I went with it... thanks for listening, glad you liked it :)

I had some weird stuff happen after I posted this, like Trey's album art popping up on my looperman folder (it wasn't the default before that lol) so maybe he did hear me. I just hope that he knows he'll be missed. Thanks for listening gizz :)
Hi fiery, when i start to hear your song i got a goose skin. There is so much soul in it and in your voice and i just played it one more time. I agree with you that it is a sad thing to see someone go. Thanks for the song.
I'm glad you liked this... a lot of work went into this track because of computer issues... more work than I've ever put into my own stuff. Nice that you enjoyed it!

Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
