Description : This is my first attempt with an acapella. I came across Mirrorball by Minette. Love her voice. I get a cinematic lost in the forest feeling while listening to this track. As always thank you to planet jazz bass, edge 7, and of course minette for your loops. Hope you like it.

Lyrics

Mirror on the wall
Who’s the fairest of them all
Mirror on the wall
Who’s the fairest of them all
And if I had a mirrorball
I’d be the fairest of them all
And if I had a mirrorball
I’d be the fairest of them all
Let me in the secret place
Where the light will trace my face
And let me see the endless sky
Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who’s the fairest of them all
And if I had a mirrorball
I’d be the fairest of them all

A really good track, that heavy drum and the voice off Minette is just awsome, the whole track is so trancy in a smooth way and so relaxed.
Besides this all, the cinematic atmosphere is here to hear in this track.
Very good job

Parker this is really nice and soothing (very nice air in the production). I love Minette's vocals personally and I think your trak is a wonderful highlight to her sound. Im glad your friend bought you the Acid Software too. Very nice contribution, thx for sharing. I will check out more of your work later.

You know, I discovered the ultra-shy Minette only during the 2009 All Genre Comp, and my impression then was she sounded so much like Siouxsie Sioux (Creatures and Siouxsie and the Banshies). Your use of her `pella here totally reinforces that for me once again.

Love the little wet licking sounds woven through this! Texture...ah.

Added to favorites! Thank you.

You know...I hadn't thought about it but I do believe you are right about the sound. I can hear a bit of Siouxsie in this. Glad you liked it.

This was great! Really enjoyed how you used Minette's vocal track, she has such a wonderful voice. Loved how you put this together, especially the effects on the backup vocal tracks!
