This is a really nice song and right along the lines of one of my crazy for-my-own-head only ideas (since it's downright 'whaaat?') when I decided to devote serious time to learning how to mix; merging older country with traditional scratch mixes, ala Qbert, Cut Chemist, etc. Not saying that's what you did here, but your mix of salsa with other flavors is quite an inspiration.

Thanks also for making it available for download.

my pleasure, thanks for the review, I do that I love to merge styles to hear what comes out, sometimes it works, sometimes? lol, my publisher does not like when I give my tracks away but on Looperman its different for me, I have to give back to this community that gives so much like you just did, thanks again. Peace Love and Freedom to experiment. I don't think this track is still up but here is a link to an experiment of my own with country and hip hop, video is pretty cool. 1904.

Hi again BigPete,

Ha Ha...got your note and I just wanna say, not much really bothers me, so poke fun at me if you want, but I know your kidding. It is good to have a sense of humor. I am the type that almost nothing bothers me these days at 65 yrs. :-). I'll be lucky to get another 10 years out of my talents. i suppose as long as i can still move a mouse. ;-)

I see some complain that this tune isn't real country, well, I suppose if you had pedal steel in it and a fiddle and in 2/4 time, then it would pass. haha
I don't play my steel much anymore. Dang thing weighs 75 lbs..... without the case.

Anyways, thabnks for your reply...I appreciate it.

hey bud...no offence but i don't think this is country music..you mite wanna put this in a different genre....its a cool tune..but it don't belong in country..its more of a Hawaiian song to be honest...this mite be looperman needing more genres..so my bad if it is!..

Anyway man...cool sounding tune..i like all thats happening in it and i like the sounds your getting from the guitar...is that you playing?

no offense taken, genre is such a vague concept, the important thing is you like the track and thats motivates me to go on making tracks, and people giving me feedback, as my choice of genre it is sad that there is no latin music genre it would ha¸ve made it easier for me. Thanks again and no I mention in the to long presentation of my track it all loops, I'm not that good a guitar player, in fact I'm a lousy guitar player, I'm more a keyboard player hurts the fingers less, lol.

Hi ya BigPete,

I saw your post about this tune so I thought I'd check it out.
A very cool tune with that cool beat. I envision them dancing now on the steet. :-)

You did a great job on this tune. The guitar sounds really good too. Funny you mention a organ with a Leslie speaker....I am doing a tune now with that in it as it sounds so cool when it starts from a near standstill and revs up and then back down.

Anyways, a very nice job and thanks for sharing it.

Lol, thanks Randall you know I'm having fun with you, you are an inspiration for a young 50 years old like me that there is still a lot of fun ahead for me and that I'll stay young as long as I feel young, And you can kick my as any time in any genre it will be an honor and a source of pride for me, as for the track I wanted something fun and simple to dance to, mexicain wedding in El Paso type and the track does make me feel good, Peace Love and Freedom to poke fun at the people you like.

Description : Oli carries a family thread that reaches back to Africa and has always been drawn to the bright, kinetic pulse of Sungura. Out of that love grew the song Sankofa. The title comes from a Twi word from Ghana that calls us to retrieve wisdom from the past and use it to shape a wiser, kinder future. The track celebrates that spirit, weaving together the camaraderie and cultural richness shared across the African continent. O&K had lot's of fun producing that song :-)

Description : This track is an experimental version of the popular Hindu mantra Om Namah Shivaye, wonderfully sung by Ankit Sharda. The female background vocalist doesn't want her name mentioned in the credits.

The song was created on Caustic Beta Version 3.8, and mastered on Mastering Beta Version 5; both Android apps from Single Cell Software. The new Sawsynth synthesizer in Caustic was used in the background & synth bass (paired with another bass).

Description : This is a Latin -Spanish flavored tune. In fact, I don't see a catagory for it so I put it under 'Ethnic'.

I eat now and then at a 'Mighty Taco' resturant near me and decided to call this one "El Nino". :-)

This tune is kinda off beat for me, but I am sure someone on here will like it. Made from loop a CD I have full of Nylon guitar loops only, I purchased early last year, and put together with other loops and synth for weird effects.
Ha.....maybe I am getting weird since my last tune was heavy metal!
Hope you like it.
