Description : Another Older track of mine But I guess It's new to looperman. I played all the keyboards on this tune. The Drum loop was created in magix. I also used the Radio Shack Md1800 to record the Piano parts. The other Synth parts were created using the Vst in Magix.

I guess this tune describes how we all might feel some times, that lonesome sad and trapped feeling of 'Just Existing.' It's good I don't always feel that way. I believe we are all here for a purpose. Sometimes we just don't always know right away what that is.

Hey man I like this track! Its a bit slow for me but I like the piano and the pads. At 4:20 the peace in the song started completing itself I really like the part after this :) It felt as if I was getting emptier but more at ease. Great track.

great track. I really like ambient music. I use a MD1700 keyboard so Im sure urs is bout the same. This is just beautiful how for the first part its kinda like u r just existing, then its like something good comes along and ur a whole again. Thx for this

Todd - I just saw one of your tracks of the featured list and said "Yes! He's back!" I'm a bit disappointed that you haven't posted anything new, but am delighted that this track somehow slipped by me.

This is awesome. Several of us have been discussing Ambient music in a thread called "ambient logbook," and I'm going to have to link this song there as an example. http://https://www.looperman.com/forum/thread/94559

Man came across you in another review I was doing so thought would check out your works, liking what I am hearing man, nice piece, good beat, best part for me was when main piano kicked in, very sweet sound, whole track very nice my friend...Peace..adding to fav's matey....

you have a cool existential take on your music, i try to incorporate that into my music as well, on a cognitive level i guess the fact that we exist points to a purpose however it usually doesn't feel like that, good work exploring this mostly undiscovered country

great switch - love how how the tune and arrangements develop, and how different parts come together smoothly.
and the way the track ends is so powerful it brings another sense
to all previous parts!

agree with BigPete.

at first.. i wasn't feeling it..
(err.. i dunno how much i like the drums.. but they are not bad at all!!! just... to me... heh)
but then something happened... and i couldn't stop getting chills.

i love that guitar groan tail end thing... that is quite a cool ambience.

Thanks, I know the drums aren't the best. The were a generically generated loop through Magix. I felt like it worked for what I was trying to do at the time.

love the mood you set and then progression to a more hopefull part and back to some despair, the piano has a 80's feel to it, very smart use of going from minor to major to create that emotional down up down up again glad it all ends in a up fashion. The quest to find ones purpose is not really one you make choices in your life that are going to make of your life a meaningfull life that will impact others (making music is one), the real trick is to make the right choices. Peace Love and Freedom to impact other peoples life in a good way.

This song defintely came out of a moment of inspiration. I'm not sure if I was conscious of how the music was flowing in this song, that is just how it came out. I agree with your statement about purpose. Thanks so very much.
