Listen To Unplugged From Reality - LIVE From The Prompt Line Rock Song By Flat2Forge | Looperman

Description : I want to give a huge shoutout to my amazing new band, 'The Prompt Engineering Ensemble'.

The bass player is a state-of-the-art graphics card, the drummer is a cloud server processing data at 200BPM, and our backing vocalists are literally millions of algorithms shouting simultaneously.

Made 100% with human sweat... and by sweat, I mean my finger pressing 'Generate'. Let's keep it real!

Nice move and totally derivative. I had the comments removed off my last track, even one too you.

Sorry for bringing this up here, but when I replied to your comment on my song, since I have to use a translator, I tried to paste the translation and the whole message wasn't published due to character limits, and it won't let me post the rest. Here's the last part:

I have to agree with you that it's strange there's no proof of physical existence. Something struck me after listening to your song live. Of all the people you hear in Manuela's live performance, whom I used as an example of a real performance, not one of them has uploaded a photo of the concert to any social media, no reference to them listening to their favorite band, nothing from real life these days. If I ran into Manuela on the street, given how much I admire her, I'd upload a photo with her to Instagram, Facebook, etc. in a heartbeat. But even though it's strange, I don't have any proof to the contrary, that it's all fake. That's why I have to focus on what's real for me: the kindness and time Manuela has given me since day one in this community.
I only ask that any questions be addressed respectfully, without direct confrontation, politely, and with the necessary space for everyone to coexist in this community.
I think I might take some time off from all of this, I don't know how long. I have enough problems without adding another one.

Thank you for the respect you've shown in your words.

And best regards. Juan Carlos

Hi Juan Carlos,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your personal situation with such incredible honesty. I deeply respect your sincerity, your transparency, and your vision regarding the value of time.

However, while I understand your gratitude, I cannot agree that intentioned kindness can justify deception. True kindness is built on honesty; when it is wrapped in lies, fake profiles, and hidden tools, it is no longer genuine. Taking advantage of someones good faith, time, and trust to sustain a false narrative or an illusion of a 'live band' isn't being a good personit is a selfish act used for personal validation. Abusing the trust of people who genuinely want to learn is exactly what damages this community.

I am glad my experiment helped you look at things objectively and see those physical inconsistencies for yourself. You have a clean heart and you value what is real.

Please take all the time you need to rest and take care of your personal matters. Your peace of mind comes first. Thank you for your words and for the mutual respect. I truly wish you the best, Juan Carlos. Take care.

I'm speechless!
That you created this, which sounds like a killer live track, with just four mouse clicks in a day... I realize I have no idea what can be done with AI.

Exactly, and I just went with the very first result the AI generated for me, using the free version of Suno.

I will be short on this topic. Ai as tool, yes, as sole creator no. It's just plain stupid to put something u didn't worked on as your work. I see ai production as potential useful tool. That's all. On the other hand we can all ask ourself here on loops page, If you use someone else samples is it really your song too? On rest i agree with Anthony on almost everything he writed.
Cheers!

Hi DanMed!

And you know what's the saddest part? As absurd as it seems to take credit for something you didn't create, this happens daily on Looperman. There are users who take advantage of the goodwill of the people in this community, abusing their trust and making them believe they're recording live music with a real band in a studio. It's a complete illusion based on deception. And if you simply try to politely ask about your doubts regarding their work, they respond with personal attacks and then twist the conversation you had with them to make it seem like you're the bad guy, after first deleting any trace of the conversation to cover their tracks.

Regarding your question about sampleswhich is a great debate for a site like LoopermanI think there's a huge line. When you use samples, you are still arranging, mixing, choosing the key, creating the structure, and matching the BPMs with your own ears and hands. You are building a puzzle. With pure AI, you don't even touch the puzzle pieces; you just ask a machine to deliver a finished picture.

Thanks for dropping by and sharing your honest view.

The track turned out just as expected, great, but its greatness came from the way it was driven. I once fed Suno some original Italian lyrics of mine, and with every verse it created a beautiful Italian ballad. The lyrics were good, but the music always surpassed them., I asked for those lyrics to be paired with classical music, and the result floored me. It felt like pure genius, so well-trained, with access to millions of songs, deep classical knowledge, and any modern genre. It's here, and instead of just watching, we should learn it and take control, sit in the drivers seat. Otherwise, computer scientists will simply work around objections and continue the virtual journey without us. We created it, teaching it both the good and bad, and there have always been tutors. If you want to judge, look at those who profit from it.
It's unfair of course, and I understand the frustration of passing off an AI-crafted song as your own or as work done in a real studio with real musicians. On the other hand, hundreds of companies use this scientific tool, especially in music, through hardware and software like synthesizers or VSTs that use advanced programming to produce "natural" sounding instruments, in various ways. I need to say that its much better to see musicians work with AI for creating music than people who only know how to control the outcome of AI music generation through their linguistic expertise. As you know, algorithms can respond to many types of signals. They don't need to be music notes or clefs; they can be transformed into any kind of auditory or visual output. There's no need to react, just act, keeping your eyes on the near or distant future, depending on where you truly belong.
Best regards, Anthony

Hi Anthony!

Thank you so much for this incredibly analytical, honest, and well-thought-out comment. It is refreshing to read someone who speaks about this technology with such clarity and maturity, without hiding behind illusions or fake studio stories.

I completely agree with your point about being in the driver's seat. My experiment with this track wasn't an attack on technology itself, but a critique of honesty. As you perfectly stated, passing off an AI-generated track as a real, human studio recording with real musicians is unfair to the community and to the craft.

There is a massive difference between a real musician using advanced tools to enhance their vision, and someone with just 'linguistic expertise' generating a full track and claiming the applause for a job they didn't actually do.

Your approach is respectable because you are honest about the tool. If everyone on the platform shared your integrity and transparency, this debate wouldn't even exist. Huge respect for your words, Anthony. Best regards!

Thanks, Danke! Glad to see there are still ears in this community that can appreciate a well-crafted 'concert'. Sometimes you just have to let the AI code do the singing to see who is really listening. I appreciate the support, mate! Cheers!

Thanks, Paul! I'm glad you appreciate the raw energy of my virtual band. It's amazing what a state-of-the-art graphics card and a text prompt can achieve these days when you put them in a AI prompt. Cheers!
