Listen To Heavier Than The Last Fusion Song By AlanMcLarenProject | Looperman

Description : This is a fusion of Trip-Hop/Electronica/Rock (or at least that's what I think :) ) It has a hypnotic vibe with some dark lyrics. Hard to define the proper genre so any comment is more than welcome, thank you :)

Hi Alan, I especially like this song because of its sparse and understated instrumentation, which harmonizes beautifully with the vocals, and its slow but steady build-up. It had an almost trance-like effect on me. The abrupt, almost brutal ending feels like suddenly falling into a hole. Great work both in the arrangement and the technical execution. I think this song is brilliant! Best regards,
Manuela

Hi Manuela, thanks so much for the nice and detailed feedback, I am happy to hear that, and so glad it triggers these feelings... I tried to compose it as a sort of progressive musical journey! Alan

Country Rock fusion your voice offsets the thrash and melodic elements of the guitars wonderfully

I do like this as it has great potential, and you can sing. What we need, though, is some crunchy guitars and not synths (and that's coming from a synth player), but this is a good song that needs some proper exploration.

Hello AlanMcLarenProject, like your musical approach on this track....percussions in particular, vocals are great and the sound has its own style, could border 3 or 4 different genres......nice work

Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^

Description : Now also on Apple music!! Please please check the link in my profile and give it a play! (Spotify to follow soon). And if you do that, let me know if I can repay the favour!
================

The song feels to me a bit like it could be on stage in a musical. It's a bit theatrical... I like it, but the next one might well be a rock song ;)

All instruments & vocals recorded live at home, without samples.

Description : Hello, everyone!
This one is a bit special because it's not one of my loops, it's jdmax121's loop " Dreamy ".
I loved it so much that I had to make something out of it. It will probably end up being on my upcoming EP.
If you liked it, or not, please let me know!
Have a nice day.

Description : Psychedelic Eastern cellhop progressing into a heavy and not at all hip hop ending. Lots of cool basslines and killer beats, all at 80 BPM. Cello is the main instrument and it also covers all the bass parts (no other bass instruments used). I didn't have to add any octave lowering effects to those cello basslines. A few synths, including a dark, trippy pad that gets very psychedelic and swirling when delay and distortion are added. Also a lyre to occasionally add an Eastern drone sound and an 8bit lead sine synth in one section. Drums are mixture of programmed acoustic kits and drum loops. You can really bounce to this shit while firing your guns in the air. So, do that and then come back and let me know if you enjoyed it. Criticism, praise, suggestions etc all welcome. Now get ready to bounce...

Description : Return To Forever was a group that started my love of fusion jazz and this is my attempt to cover their 1976 track, “The Romantic Warrior. I know I wore out several inceptions of this album from LP, cassette and 8 track. The original track was over 10 minutes long, so I abridged it some. Hope you like and download.
