i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses

Description : I intentionally made this song minimalistic. The drums I spliced together from some drum loops I had, there's one other loop in the mix, the rest of the instruments are played by me (bass and synths). I used the excellent (and free) Cakewalk z3ta+ vst and the BBC Symphony vst. My intention was to create a very simple and dream like ambient track. Feel free to download or comment. As I can understand by your music, you like melody too, it is so many times in your creations. This violin hits a bit hard, I mean as a sound, but my bad, I did not try to change my choice of sound and this is crucial sometimes. I am glad you listened to the song's nice elements and you liked it.

Im Greek, though my surname is Maltese (half of my roots trace back to that small island, to a little town in its center that shares my name). I grew up and still live in Athens, and from my young age I learned two foreign languages: English and Italian. I love Italian for its pure musicality and its closeness to Greek, not just in grammar and syntax but in many phrases and expressions too. This track came to me first in Italian, with the title Ti do una chiave, and then in EnglishIm not sure why. I later wrote a Greek text to send to my brother along with the song, and surprisingly, it was the first time Id reflected on my thoughts and feelings about it in Greek. I honestly dont know why. Im really glad you enjoyed my thoughts and the track, BaoBou.
