Listen To Life At Sea 2026 Cinematic Song By ShortBusMusic At Looperman.com

Description : I did this song with Slap way back in 2008 (original version is on this page). I decided to try to make it a bit more current and hopefully succeeded. My huge thanks to my good friend Ernie help with the sax. He said he couldn't hold a candle to Slap, but I think he did all right. Enjoy the new version.

Gizmo, thanks for the kind feedback. It was nice to have a template to work with, and then have someone as gifted as Ernie to take over the sax. As always your feedback is greatly appreciated. I hope all is well.

Stunning sound. I've listened to a few of your tracks over the years and I seem to remember they are often uplifting and positive and generally rather beautiful. This is no exception. Very enjoyable listen. As an ex and very bad sax player i appreciate the skill here. Cheers Zoot.

Thanks so much BONEZ. Most of the work had been done on this a while ago, so this one was just like tuning up a car and hoping it worked haha. Thanks for your time and feedback. Greatly appreciated. I hope all is well.

My question is "did the title come first or vice versa?" and it came to me just by your intro where I truly felt the vastness of the sea. The sax gave to my ears the complexity of the life in the sea, it is so vibrant and its melodies are so dreamy, the variations, the pauses, your excellent synth work, not to mention the drums and the basslines, all together brought a beautiful world to my senses. Yes I could understand your title and I believe some things beyond it. So I do compliment you on this, excellent work (your sound is a beauty too).
Best regards, Anthony

Anthony, the song came before the title. At the time, I lived on the West Coast of the US, right on the ocean, and I always loved going for walks along the shoreline. I had the song written and then asked Slap if he would bless it with his amazing sax work. He agreed and the original was born. This version is just me trying to update the old girl. As always, your kindness and time are greatly appreciated. I hope all is well.

at the intro i just sat back and exhaled, this is such a pleasure to listen to, the sax is stellar, THE star of the show. the drums sitting just under are so on point the synth work is great i like the razor saw wave, sound and production are excellent Bear and such a good outro too, top work and a back slap for Ernie,

in the UK Ernie drove the fastest milkcart in the west, its a comedy skit from an old UK comic, Benny Hill, you wouldn,t get away with it today, some of it was close to the knuckle

Hey brother, thanks so much for stopping by to give this one a listen. Ernie did Slap justice for sure and I think we breathed a little life into the old girl. I loved Benny Hill, what a great show. And you are correct, in these times they would be all over him haha. As always, your time and kindness is appreciated. I will pass the kind feedback on to Ernie as well. I hope all is well.

Description : Ok...here it is! Another colab with maestro Tumbleweed! Ed provided the unfinished, basic track...I composed and recorded the long intro using different synths and then added piano (well to the fore) and some brass arrangements along the rest of the track (no violin this time...hehe) and then did the final mixing to wrap it up as it is presented now. I hope you will enjoy it and we both appreciate your listening time and your valuable comments:) Otherwise all thanks to Ed!

Description : 4!_(07@2nd) harmonic protocol reboot sequence

This track is an elaboration of dgalantic’s track “Starting Over 0172257.” It is almost entirely comprised of loops by other artists on looperman. The newsreel in the intro section is from public domain footage of the Vietnam War. Prince Fatty chimes later in with some words of wisdom. The track was sequenced with Mixtikl and edited in Audacity.

Loops from the following artists are included:
1. ThatJeffCarter’s guitar “feedback 197765”
2. three of Nightingale’s harmonica trills: “angels 0088377, inner light 0088361 and never and never 0088366”
3. Heavily fx’ed vocal excerpts from Eshar’s “7th Dimension 0002644”
4. Dcmack’s rhythm loops “2 bass drums 1- 0085449, 2- 0085446, and 4- 0085448.”
5. Steelyvibe’s choral wash “luno frunezo 0005719”
6. Nightingale’s guitar loop “diving deep 0043488”
7. Rasputin1963’s chorals “ soul ladies gospel riff 0088641 and reggae soul girls choir 0087693”
Genre: Cinematic

Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...
