Gorgeous work, gentle melodic shimmering and bubbling, nice flute sounds, nice foley and synth leads, gentle ghostly piano - all superb. Spoken word fits the tone really well too and it unfolds compositionally in a very pleasing way
the united nations is a waste of space, in my opinion, they do nothing its just another jolly for politicians,
but besides that, this is a remarkable piece of art Frans, the spoken vocal was delivered perfectly in your broken English, thats not a slur, it carried more weight for me with your voice, everything you have used is so tight together, the words are magnificent and truthful, this is also out of the box thinking, i like that very much, extremely creative and very sad bro wow you get a like and i don't hand them out often :))
Thanks, glad you like it. My nephew came up with the idea of using Charlie Chaplin's "The Final Speech" in "The Great Dictator", and it turned out great. I asked for permission; it was too expensive :( Hence the Bart De Wever speech.
Thank you, I'm glad you like it.

The first time I heard that sound was in "Lucky Man" by "Emmerson, Lake & Palmer" where Emmerson created this sound on a Moog. Then this year I started to play with Analog Lab V play (Arturia) and found this sound in one of the presets I got a hold of. Besides the great sound, the glide made it work for this track, but had to force it a bit. The glide depends on the previous tone, so I play a C2 followed by a C5, the C2 is muted by volume automation that fades in during the glide hence the great start of the synth sound. I feed the audio of that synth into a second track that contains Raum for the reverb but again muted by volume automation, at the end of the play the synth is faded out but the reverb is faded in to create the feeling that the sound is moving away from the audience.
I have to say, this piece is nothing short of beautiful. It opens with an air of quiet foreboding, then unravels into a haunting blend of shock and disbelief. Like the musical embodiment of a thousand-yard stare. Its profoundly powerful, and all without a single beat of percussion. The silence that lingers in their absence speaks louder than any drum ever could. What a story youve told through sound alone. I am thoroughly impressed.
Your composition, your choice of instruments, your mixing; all are masterful. Were it possible, Id download this in a heartbeat. It would fit nicely in one of my personal playlists.
Thank you, I'm overwhelmed by all the praise. But I also want to express my deepest gratitude for the way you describe this, something I, as a Dutch person, just can't seem to manage. I've also adjusted the settings. I initially disabled the download because of Bart De Wever's speech, but he made it public himself, and I assume that won't be a problem, so the download is now enabled.

This is my latest, but also one of my earliest tracks.... any feedback is more than welcome, thanks :)
Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
