Description : It was the flooding from Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and Mississippi, that motivated me to make this song. It was a huge loss in life, August 29, 2005. The heart of jazz and blues suffered a terrible situation with almost 1500 deaths.
The song is as old as the incidence. Consider it a true reaction to something sad, so distant yet so close.

i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses

Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.

You always find those words that matter so much. To find the courage to move on, is the main thought after the deep grief for the losses. And music is present, as it has been, a way of living.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment, it is greatly appreciated. Life goes on, finds its ways. It is already twenty years, kids are grown up and in other cases the elderly age has come, this is the circle and I think this is what I carry in my music, along with my love for Greece, where I live my circle.

I had to dig into my hard disks to spot the song but when I listened to it I had the impression of a contemporary work so I am glad to know you liked it. Yes I remember those days, it was intense and as usual unfair..
