Description : It was the flooding from Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and Mississippi, that motivated me to make this song. It was a huge loss in life, August 29, 2005. The heart of jazz and blues suffered a terrible situation with almost 1500 deaths.
The song is as old as the incidence. Consider it a true reaction to something sad, so distant yet so close.

i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses

Description : I intentionally made this song minimalistic. The drums I spliced together from some drum loops I had, there's one other loop in the mix, the rest of the instruments are played by me (bass and synths). I used the excellent (and free) Cakewalk z3ta+ vst and the BBC Symphony vst. My intention was to create a very simple and dream like ambient track. Feel free to download or comment. I had to dig into my hard disks to spot the song but when I listened to it I had the impression of a contemporary work so I am glad to know you liked it. Yes I remember those days, it was intense and as usual unfair..
