IDK to me its sort of a Mix between music festival bass music. So like a cross between drum n bass Hip-hop and other things like that. Listen to NAS if you want what Hiphops true core is about. but TECH N9NE took Rap music to the next level. I Think the Fusion of Hiphop with Drum N Bass is the future. Slow portions to rap on and fast portions to Dance n what not. I also just try to be different. artists such as DAX Changed the formula with his 20 Min rap songs where he just goes and goes and goes. The Days of Kanye West or DRE style production is OVER!! Rap used to be Intro Hook Verse Hook Verse outro for yeears making the music bland. I do respect the stuff the kids are doing with auto tune and what not. The new wave of rap is far different. I would say every 10 years the sound changes. You can go back to 73 if u can find any recordings and really hear and feel the evolution. RAKIM is one of the best rappers to ever do it.
