Description : Smooth jazz Improv with help from the Guitarteamnl using an Ibanez Artcore Expressionist, tc electronics pedal, wireless inputs, tascam dp 09 recorder champion 100 amp hp laptop and a wild imagination at 4:16
Ahh, Guitar effects and technique that allows me to smile, relax, and Enjoy this Quebec Gin and Tonique (Fou Gin, and Fever Tree) to relax me before I drift off for the evening. Nice Work!
Hello Mykael, thank you my friend for listening and commenting on this track, its definitely improv my brother....I play it as I feel it and hopefully its good enough to play alongside you talented individuals, I again thank you for listening.
Hello sounders, you're on the money with the first part of growing up....the second eh!....i appreciate it anyway, I do try hard to get there....the music is everything and it we definitely need it these crazy times. I thank you again for all your time and comments my friend, its greatly appreciated.
Hello StratOli, thank you my friend for giving it a listen, very thankful of course.....that 4:16 label was just the extra emphasis on the one note sounding a little heavier....or the cool burn.
Hello secondnature1, that definitely sounds so inviting and a great spot for a refresher and soft playback....i.can see that as well, I thank you for giving this track a listen and comment my friend.
Someone needs to teach me how to lay down such amazing tunes on a guitar, I really wish I could play a real one. This is beautiful, Glen. Your heart must be a magnificent garden, filled with colours so vibrant that our eyes have yet to see or feel them. Truly soothing to the soul!
Hello RichardShekari , my brother I thank you for your words and listening of course.....you know as well as I the heart is capable of so many things....fortunately for us music can pour out of the heart and if you'll lucky you can lay it out in the form of life notes that people can understand and maybe appreciate even if just for a little bit.....I do feel or try to play what Im feeling and hope it comes out with some good true meaning. For me everyday is holiday in some small way.....I appreciate your work as well my friend, its all about love and respect.....take care
Glenn, hello.
You left a comment on my track saying there are so many ways guitar can capture your attention. The contrast between that track of mine and this track of yours is like opposite ends of the spectrum. Where mine was loud, heavy and aggressive, yours is so smooth, relaxing and calm. Both tracks on the same instrument, but so vastly different. This definitely caught my attention. Enough so that I listened through 3 times in a row.
This is a lovely song. I imagine that when you're playing this, you're completely submerged in the music. As if nothing else around you exists. It feels as if you just disappear into your playing.
You truly have a talent, and shows that you have a deep passion for it.
Excellent work, my friend.
Take care.
V.
Hello ValveDriver, I very much appreciate your listening and comments of course....we share a love of music like so many others, the guitar for us just takes it to another level we can convey what we're feeling or experiencing and can make something musical come from it. I've never had any real instruction other than what I've put into it....and of course you never stop learning, the joy of just playing is the joy.....if someone likes it then I'm overjoyed at that point cause the sharing is the whole point....your talent shows through
in what you produce as well and I look forward to more of it....I once again thank you for your words my friend.
Hello DanMed, I appreciate you listening and commenting on this track, glad to hear about the inspiration as well.....quite a few of you guys inspire me as well and its great to go the other way......we share this love of music and that's always a good thing.....again thank you.
I, too, followed up that Jungle track with this one lol. Strange coincidence. I honestly dont kno what Jazz is as a genre, or I didn't until I heard this. This is what gentlemen listen to when they can kick back with a bourbon on the rocks and a cigar and just enjoy themselves. I can certainly dig that man. Love it.
Hello TheMonzderSquadd, appreciate the listen my friend....jazz can stretch from one end to the other and mixes often in part with other genres. I prefer the smoother or laidback forms ....I'd rather play it soft and easy and maybe appeal to more folk like yourself. Im glad this track was a good listen and I appreciate it greatly.
Pretty funny coming to this after Dennels jungle vibe, but variety is the spice of life and I like variety in music. I think I need to learn from you, as Micky said, you have such a relaxed approach and this just sooths the soul. Thanks, Zoot.
Hello Zootman, thank you my friend for listening and commenting....its so much better at times to just take it slow if the moments dictate....relaxing is vital on occasion and it definitely sooths the soul.
Hello Glenn, that was a beautiful jazz improvisation. I believe the tones from your guitar come from deep within you! Very soulful, as if the two of you were one. Great technique. Exceptional guitar work!
Kind regards, Manuela
Hello 2Sisters, thank you a ton.....y Ibanez artcores seem to give me what I'm trying to convey over any other guitars, both electric and acoustic they both work pretty well....
I'm curiousare you related to Peter White? Not only do you share the same surname, but you also possess a similar passion and talent for smooth jazz and virtuosic lead guitar skills.
Anyways, awesome track again. Gotta keep these coming
Hello TrippleN97, I know the Peter White name of course....he's a great guitar player but we share surname only....like Peter and other greats you never know what your passion will be until you go after it....for me Im just a guy who likes the guitar and I try to lay down interesting lines when playing to tunes. Theres so much good music out there and I'm constantly thinking about what I could do with this piece or that. If you know what I mean, music is a constant and a healer.....we need it as much as we can stand....anyway I just enjoy trying to make something that's acceptable and look forward to a lot more. Again I thank you for listening....means a lot.
Hi Glenn, I'm always amazed at how incredibly relaxed your work is. It's an art, and certainly not for everyone, to approach things in such a relaxed manner. Great work!
Best wishes,
Micky
Hello Micky, thanking you for listening of course and commenting....I would say a lot of the music I upload I feel so connected to.....so playing and improvising is kind of personal and thought provoking and it kinda comes out that way I guess.....being relaxed certainly helps to minimize mistakes as well....and a few nice surprise note choices when you feel no urgency....if that makes sense. Anyway thank you my friend.
Hello AnthonyAttard, my friend I value your opinions and thoughts and appreciate each and every one.....its a pleasure to share each one's musical ideas and look forward to much more. Again thank you.
Description : I first discovered the iconic singer Ella Fitzgerald through my parents, my mother who was a renowned vocalist herself had a deep appreciation for the music of legendary artists. I was too young but captivated by the soulful jazz melodies that filled our home on lazy Sunday afternoons. "Summertime" Exudes a timeless touch of elegance it has a special place in my heart. -"KAY" upright bass (MADE IN GERMANY somwhere in 1950th)
-TAMA Imperial Star + Pearl OMAR HAKIM snare + Various Ziljian cymbals.
I just put together some old ideas to see if it will work. Some vocals and brass, or guitars is clearly needed. Let me know what you think about it. Tnx
Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...
Description : This is track me and my friend (great jazz, blues musician) done
around this great vocal we acquired.
Lot of hours in it.
I had great fun making it!
Hope you people like it.
Love and peace.
Description : I think it's a late evening song to accompany you for a single drink.
Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.
Description : This track made me just stop working on it and listen to it for enjoyment.
Smooth Mellow funky Jazz. Uses: 0111003-djrumplestiltskin-swung-funk-drum-beat, 0087009-mrroads442-guitar-line, 0072485-michiel555-mellow-funk, 0058934-ferryterry-90-bpm-soprano-sax. Is this Funk or Jazz?
Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : Something a bit different from us. I (Bobo) played guitar, synth, midi bass and percs to this piano loop by LM's most excellent Rasputin. Wataya, stoned as usual, thought he heard Barbara Streisand singing. This is the result.
Description : I created a hip hop groove in Logic and decided to duel some Saxophones. I am playing the Baritone sax on the left pan and the Tenor Sax on the right pan.
I added some bells like a boxing match bell to give it a fight drama feel. The hip hop track itself is dope to me. The duel is cool too. Who won?
nice job!

We had 2 sayings when I was growing up
One was about impending death
The other was 'You can't Out Glenn the glennwhite6504'.
Immaculate as ever, with thanks.
