Awe man! This track was an eye opener and actually made my evening. Your arrangement with the Strat contrasting the keys made this track take on a magical feel between the blues, jazz and fusion. Your tone and phrasing is heartfelt and soulful and I very much enjoyed your track. Exceptional job!
Thanks a lot Dennel, I'm glad to receive great feedback like this from a seasoned musician like you. Always a pleasure to listen to your jazz tracks man.
Ok dude this is fire. Glad to see that you're still at it - Its hard to ignore music's call once you become a creator. (For me, impossible)
You have some creative stuff, man. I'll be around to check it out every now and then. I salute u man.
First it was your sound that made me say this is going to be a good song. Very well balanced where the rest of the band supports your leading role, but it is not kept hidden. You can listen to the bass or the keyboard loud and clear. Then it was this choice of chords that come mostly from jazz and carry an absolute musicality. Your solo, improvisational guitar was great. I cloud hear your bluesy background but it was more than that. I think your fingers do love blues but are capable of many other things and that's the fact with this song. I liked the outcome. It kept me interested to the end and I felt It was very good listen.
My best wishes, Anthony
Thank you Anthony, I'm glad that you enjoyed this track. You analyzed it very well, the purpose of this track was to try to recreate some live improvisation atmosphere with musicians listening to each other.
Very tasteful. Love how everything blends in and the guitar lead is not overbearing, yet allowed to shine. I thought my computer glitched out at the end, kind of abrupt, but I guess since it's my story now, it's my ending. :-) All good vibes. Good job.
Thank you very much for your positive feedback and I sorry if I caused your computer to malfunction :-) Not much to say about the ending actually and you said it! I really appreciate your support, I wish you a good day.
Hello Oli, that is very nice! It truly makes one dream. So, it's now my story! *smile
Why did you name it "Bodenlos"? The song has a very good improvisational character, reminiscent of the great jazz and blues guitarists. Great foundation with bass, keys, and drums, and on top of that, this wonderfully played guitar. Outstanding work.
Best regards, Manuela
Hallo Manuela, thanks so much for your always very positive comment. Why "Bodenlos"? I was looking for a title that could express that feeling of flowing lead guitar but at the same time the fear of falling into the pit of guitar overflow a.k.a noodling :-) That's why I tried to leave enough space for everyone's stories!
Merci mon ami! Well it is not exactly a precise story it is more about impressions, a mix of beauty and sadness. Hard to put into words sometimes, might be easier with music. Thanks again for listening and your feedback.

Description : Did you ever have those days when you are totally distracted? You find yourself switching from one thing to another due to overwhelm - say hallo to 'ADHD' But this time we could focus on the song and used some loops from Hysteria and Bigishi. And a big thanks to James who did help us with the guitars. (He was in the mood for blues :-) We are on Bandcamp as kayos2 Tell us what you think of this track....
Description : Of all the classic Monster tales the Wolfman is definitely one of the saddest. Cursed, and destined to live as both man and monster. During the day he sits alone with his guitar, a prisoner of lonely existence, crying his heart out through his music. Then at night, the beast emerges, and in the dark under a full moon, he cry's as he rips the hearts out of his victims! Such is the life of a cursed bluesman!
Description : Hopefully it is the first song of an imaginary album that I will call "Diverse waves". I believe the title of this "album" will keep me focused on a style that incorporates and blends various musical elements for the pleasure of our ears.
I really hope you will like the results of this attempt.
Description : This is a tune dedicated to my friend, Nancy, who followed me to the clubs I played at for years, and is still following me with my studio work. Why do I dedicate this to her? Onnacounta cause she's soooooo naughty! She never liked violins, but loved her sax! Here's to you, Nancy. Anyway, this is a little blues track with some nice guitar and sex...oh, sorry, I mean sax.
Description : guitar on right run thru my friends mesa rec 25. It has an absolutely gorgeous tone. The guitar playing D, C #, B is run thru guitar rig 6. The the pushed back guitar on the left is also run thru the mesa. My UNC chapel-hill decision letter is coming out tomorrow and I'm super stressed. Whipped out my guitar and recorded some stuff. Hope you like it.
Description : A sultry, seductive, and fairly short acoustic blues number. It is an instrumental and only took about 2 hours to write, record, and get a decent mix. Enjoy! Updated: I added some slight echo to the electric guitar and widened the stereo fields of the acoustic rhythm and leads.
Description : Miguel Flores, vocals. Jean-Maurice Humbert-Droz, lead guitars. Laurent Schwaar, guitars. Roland Sumi, bass. Richard Pizzorno, Hammond. Laurent Wirz Drums. Loop from josephfunk (rhodes). Composed by Miguel Flores.
Description : KesstA or "What's ur prob" Blues is an excuse for having fun recording several tracks of guitar and trying to make them sound alright all together. If it sounds a bit messy or jammy, well it's part of it.
Description : Fresh out of the studio after 10 weeks of deliberating, planning, writing and performing.
This could be classed as Country Blues or Southern Rock...either way I think it may get your toes tapping. So grab your partner and jump on the dance floor with this one.
I am performing the following instruments...vocals, electric guitars, slide acoustic, bass, harmonica, organ. I wrote the following instrument parts in MIDI....drums, percussion, piano, horns. This was a beast to master but I think it turned out okay.
No loops used.
