Description : Thanks to Looperman user Epise for allowing me to use acapellas and song elements. All other work is on this song is of my own design.
NOTE: I am old enough to remember how back in the day there were promo records that were released to DJ’s. Often on those LP’s there were extra’s besides the remixes. These were dubs, acapella’s and “leftover beatsâ€Â. The leftover beats were always my favorite because they were the different parts of the other remixes all thrown together. They were at time repetitive but still rocked. Most DJ’s would only sample bits and pieces of these extras but when I was a DJ I would often play the whole track as a song of its own. This song here is a throw back to that era. I welcome criticism but if you are going to give me a negative critique please do it from an artists and or DJ’s point of view. For them that don’t know what “leftover beats†and “dubs†are please don’t bother. This was made for DJ’s and people that can appreciate the old school. Enjoy.
dude thats so dope how you took mostly all my vocal samples and put them in your mix ...thats so kool man...thanks for taking your time to do that...good sound man....
I listened to this yesterday a couple of times and heard everytime another aspect. B.t.w.: Many of the young folks in Berlin play nothing else while raving. Please produce more of this!!!
i did not know anything about "leftover beats" and about "dub" nearly nothing. so i am happy to learn something new. i dont think, that is a track only for dj's. i like him very much and will play him as a endless loop for a while.
Description : I have been using LooperMan for practice for some time now. This my most recent track. The only loop in the song is BabyGee's vocals. Free to download and if you repost tag me so I can share it as well.
Description : A psychedelic techno cello epic. It's not really techno as it's only 110 BPM but something like that (eg breakbeat), with lots of banging beats and arpeggiated acid synths, plus a whole load of my layered cello playing techniques. There aren't that many synths used but they do a lot of work and are carefully automated. No guitar. Drums are mostly a lot of drum loops, supported by a few programmed acoustic drumkits. Very busy and complicated with loads of different sections (funky, chilled, fast, heavy) that make up a constantly progressing trip. I don't know if there's any other cello music like this so let me know if you think there is. Interesting feedback appreciated - criticism, praise, ideas etc. Enjoy...
Description : Summer type dance track, for those precious 2 weeks off, if you can get them! Made around a selection of different loops and some keys from me.
Description : Inspired by an experimental percussion piece I heard. Rhythmic ticking builds into pounding beats and heavy soundscapes. I haven't done any mixing or mastering yet so tell me what you think. Any and all comments are welcome.
Description : A song about a damaged soul. Sadly, based on a true story. Gorgeous loops here are by Hardstyle Rythm, Aboe, and Princess Hollywood. All basslines by that fiendish genius Rasputin. Take a bow, gentlemen
