You're off to a good start. Something to keep in mind, if you're playing this live, then you should try recording the guitar 4 times. Assign each recording to their own track in the mixer so you have 4 different channels of the same guitar part. Then, you'll want to pan channel one 100% to the left. Pan channel two 70% to the left. Then, channel three 70% to the right, and finally, channel four 100% to the right. By stacking them and giving them stereo separation, this will give it a very wide, full and big metal sound. By going no less than 70% it leaves a pocket in the middle for the bass guitar and vocals to sit without any frequency interference. But, you have to record them individually. If you just record it once and try sending copies to four channels, You will get terrible phasing, because all of the frequencies are identical and playing at the same time. There has to be some variance in the tracks to avoid that.
