170BPM Key Bm Liquid/Melodic Drum & Bass

Discussion bonus cash + royalties after. This is just to see if you have what it takes, and what can make this song pop.

Unmastered and basic. We'll see if we get the right vocals first.

I'm listening, trying to decide if you have what it takes to be "the one" producer! ;)
Hehe.
Solid track and good mixing. You will have success with a vocalist for your materials I imagine!

Hope so :-) If not, the instrumental is not bad either lol.

Thanks for the compliment!

Great song for a contest. Great work.

InitiumMusic replied 23rd Jun 2023 - 3 years ago

Thought it might be. And it's pretty much money just for doing something fun haha

Markvia67 16th Jun 2023 18:06 - 3 years ago

This track is absolutely what I was looking for to add to my drone footage.

InitiumMusic replied 16th Jun 2023 - 3 years ago

That actually sounds pretty amazing. Is this on youtube somewhere when you're done?

This track is so beautiful.
This deserves the best voice.
A male and female duo would be nice
Too bad I can't sing but there are plenty of good singers here.
Good luck !!

InitiumMusic replied 23rd Jun 2023 - 3 years ago

We'll see. I have a male singer that might have the right idea. I've worked with him before. We'll see if he's got what it takes for this track though. :-)

Thank you for the praise!

wikkid 17th May 2023 17:37 - 3 years ago

Hi,

I wish you all the best with this. Reminds me of something Peter Gabriel/Kate Bush would perform. Melodic liquid is a fave of mine, and I really like the soulful, trance quality of your piece. Great work.

InitiumMusic replied 22nd May 2023 - 3 years ago

Yeah, love Peter Gabriel. Melodic liquid is my favorite style too. Well, it was the style that got me a career lol.

I do hope I find someone, basically as long as it takes. I could find the hit vocal tomorrow, or months down the line. I have other projects I'm working on in the meantime, so I'm not too impatient :-P

Thanks so much for the compliment!

ShinkieMaz 15th May 2023 15:44 - 3 years ago

InitiumMusic replied 15th May 2023 - 3 years ago

Gentle and very refined for Drum and Bass - Shimmer it does
Beautiful work

InitiumMusic replied 15th May 2023 - 3 years ago

Thanks. :-)

Btw, you and Zoot have officially made my favorite indie/grunge song on looperman.

OMaille 14th May 2023 16:23 - 3 years ago

This. Is. Awesome! I LOVE the female ethnic chant in the background. The drums are mastered to perfection. I like how you use the rimshot rather than a snare hit. The breakdown bridge and drum fill back into the beat made me feel I could take flight! My favorite part is that 2nd octave keys where your playing 5th chords. It along with the ethnic vox really ties everything together in this track. Favorited.
