Description : My rendition of an old KC&SB number. Never was a hit but I always liked the cold groove. I imagine that's something for a big bash.

'Write the theme tune, Sing the theme tune', (remember that from Little Britain sketch show?! You are immensely talented. Nicely produced, smooth with groove. Your voice is mellow and melodius. Kay0s
Hey Kay, I've seen a lot of Little Britain, but unfortunately not that particular episode... what was it about?
And of course, thank you for listening.
Cheers,
Micky
Nice interpretation of this track, made it your own. Another KC song, cool!
I started I'm Your Boogie Man and sent it to Joe Funktastic for horns months ago, he was excited to jump on it and then he vanished, haven't heard a word since I sent him the tracks.
I thought KC did some catchy pop/disco tunes back in the day. Good to see people doing some classic renditions of some cool tracks, keep up the good work Mickey!
Hey Wayne, the same thing happened to me once with Joe....I have no idea what's up with him. I overheard something like he was sick. No idea.
Yeah, KC man... they can't easily be dismissed as dance pop... it's a little bit more than that. Their guitarist, Jerome Smith (God bless him) was the reason for me at the time, me too get a Telecaster. I loved his style of playing rhythm guitar... Nile Rodgers cites it as one of his influences.
Anyway... thanks for listening.
great track Micky, you got that groove going on instruments are great, your vocal is on point as always and the mix mastering and sound quality are top, top, notch great track mate
Hey Paul, yes, I worked my ass off with this track, but you always learn something from it. Dealing with so many different vocals or multi voiced parts is a challenge. But I think I'm a little further along now. I'm so glad you liked it. Thanks for listening, Cheers, Micky.
From the drop of the beat I kind of knew this was going to be something tasty and I was not wrong, I love the groovalicious! flavor of this track it seriously made me move! my body. The vocals I definitely like a lot & man you can sing! I'm never disappointed when I come listen to your music, without a doubt it sure lifted me up. Bravissimo!
What can I say, your nice comments have been a great encouragement to me from the start and I just have to thank you. I'm very glad you liked this track! Muchas Gracias
Thank you BaoBou, that's nice to hear. I worked on the vocals in particular for quite a long time and in the end I still wasn't sure if it worked or if it was complete crap. I've found that adding a little chorus to background vocals is a great way to set them apart from the rest.
I am very happy that you like the track.
Cheers,
Micky
OMG Robbie! You know that English is not my mother tongue, but I assume that "killing me" is to be understood in a figurative sense. I hope strong. Otherwise I would take the track down immediately...
Nice to hear from you and big thanks for the support.

Hello, I would describe as a good soul interpretation with a large funk component. Just like the groove of the 80s sounded. The instruments are good and restrained. The small guitar solo interlude is kept discreet. It just sounds good. Best regards Manuela
Hi Manuela,
I'm glad you like the track, especially as I assume not everyone is drawn to this style. And thanks for the detailed pointers too...that's very encouraging to hear. Have a nice day!

Description : I have been using LooperMan for practice for some time now. This my most recent track. The only loop in the song is BabyGee's vocals. Free to download and if you repost tag me so I can share it as well.
Description : A psychedelic techno cello epic. It's not really techno as it's only 110 BPM but something like that (eg breakbeat), with lots of banging beats and arpeggiated acid synths, plus a whole load of my layered cello playing techniques. There aren't that many synths used but they do a lot of work and are carefully automated. No guitar. Drums are mostly a lot of drum loops, supported by a few programmed acoustic drumkits. Very busy and complicated with loads of different sections (funky, chilled, fast, heavy) that make up a constantly progressing trip. I don't know if there's any other cello music like this so let me know if you think there is. Interesting feedback appreciated - criticism, praise, ideas etc. Enjoy...
Description : Summer type dance track, for those precious 2 weeks off, if you can get them! Made around a selection of different loops and some keys from me.
Description : Inspired by an experimental percussion piece I heard. Rhythmic ticking builds into pounding beats and heavy soundscapes. I haven't done any mixing or mastering yet so tell me what you think. Any and all comments are welcome.
And of course, thank you for listening.
Cheers,
Micky
