Description : UPDATE: Extended and revised version.
I produced additional sounds, reworked the vocals, cleaned the entire sound and mixed everything again. I would be interested to know whether I improved or worsened it.
Based on a old poem from around 1650 by Laurentius von Schnifis.
Everything played and mixed by myself. Parts of the drums by Joe Funktastic.
As always, I would be very happy about a comment.

Description : "WORLD FUTURISM," a unique blend of global dance
and timeless sounds drawing from nature, traditional music, field recordings,
and the electronic savvy of modern centers like Chicago and London
Description : The tangled skein of life permeates all creation, binding the known to the unknown. This track, in its own subtle way, attempts to convey that.
Description : Just like the first EP "OGOU", this production focuses on organic elements with drum samples. It contains modern sounds such electronic down-tempo, future bass, and hip-hop, which makes the music sound old and new at the same time. With heavy sampling of African chants and sound generated from other tribes, this is production will bring more flavor and enjoyment--it's like Africa to your Ears.
Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!
***original description***
Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Description : The answer to Close Encounters is Hymn Of The Pleiades. This is a strictly groove track where the elements of ambient meets electronic funk and Hip Hop. Track was recorded, mixed and mastered using Mixcraft Pro Studio 6 software. Results were achieved by using a FATA Studio 90 MIDI keyboard ran through a E-MU Proteus 2000 sound module, - for the phat funky bass synth. I also used a KORG O5R/W sound module for the retro lead synth parts and ambient sound pads.
I utilized what was essentially a old school Hip Hop drum track, arranged and beefed it up for that extra umh! I greatly appreciate all the positive feedback the track has garnered thus far. Keep listening and by all means, your comments are much welcomed... thanks.

Nice flow. Wish I knew German as I think it would be cool to know the words. Great Job.
Buen tema amigo mo, tu voz queda como un guante, perfecta para la ocasin. Que tengas un buen da compaero. paz y salud.
I like this track and the vocal!!
Nice work.
Very cool - used to really love Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream and even Ultravox - this reminds me a little of them but is actually more cool, a litte darker and more 'fresh' sounding
Great Track and wonderful sound production too : )
Joe!!! 3rd time is a charm just got done listening to it, and the mix sounds amazing now, great job!
Moin.
Was fr ein Text. Deine Stimme gefllt mir. Sie bildet einen sehr guten weichen Kontrast zum heftig krassen Inhalt. Wie ich hier schon gelesen habe, das ist wie Kraftwerk. Sobald ich Zeit habe, hre ich mir mal deine anderen Tracks an.

Glad to see you on the map Joe, any little time I get to listen to your track I enjoy it. I admire your creativity and originality, something I'd like to see more on here. I don't know what you're singing but I really dig your vocals. At times it reminds me of Kraftwerk (may Florian Schneider rest in peace). Great job mate, thanks for sharing. Oh, I almost forgot, I had to press download to keep, I will be listening to this more often so thank you for allowing us to download your music. Faved :)

I haven't been around for ages but here you are Joe and you never fail to please!
I've all but dried up for the last year but your old poem idea has me inspired me!
All of these suggestions about adding reverb are totally wrong. If you are going to add anything to the mix. Add some Valhallah Uber Mod asymmetric pong, but a really light mix with a wide variance. Adding Reverb would just muddle the vocals in the end run and add nothing but chaos. Just IMHOP my friend. ;)

Nice overall sound. Good work joecramer!
Nice work bro, sounds good.
Good morning friend, your song has certainly had a positive evolution, resulting richer in listening in terms of sound. I agree with theHumps in the idea of adding a bit of reverberation to a voice of a large environment, such as an underground cave or a tunnel, this to give more suggestion to the acting. Best wishes
I really like the feel of the song, reminds me of late 80's new wave bands. I think the vocals could use a little bit more reverb to have them sit in the mix a little better, they stand out rather than sit in the mix. Just my opinion. Other than that I think you have something really good here!

Cool Mate, The music got a bit more in your face. Very techno with hints of acid and nicely mixed, as always a work of art with a modern twist by you brings joy to my day. I like this one better.
