Description : Simple piano solo I wrote last weekend at about 3am! It's just using the default Garageband piano instrument with some reverb. Played on my M-Audio Keystation 61es in one take - yes I could have tidied it up bit its more honest leaving it as is.
I plan to create an orchestral version of this soon. Anyone got ideas to collaborate and do something interesting with this then get in touch.

Well it can live like that
a piece of piano solo is fine
As wayne said a bit lower on the volume and the compression and it will mixed a bit better
add a natural atmospheric ambience failing to be original could bring something more
hi Henry - many thanks for the comment, hope to progress the orchestral version this weekend. Thanks for the tip with Patricia Edwards too I'll look her up :-) - best, Anna-marie
Great playing, nice musical idea, full of emotion. I am the same way about my tracks, if it sounds real and honest, a few "untidy"bits of playing are totally acceptable. To me that is what lacks in today's electronic music, the human factor.
Big sounding piano, a bit distorted though. Maybe lower either the overall track volume or adjust the compression to get the level down a bit.
Many thanks for the feedback Wayne - yes I agree, I hear too much music that sounds so mechanical and soulless. It does distort in the loud section you're right - I'm not great at mixing and mastering tbh - but I'll def try lowering the levels for a cleaner sound - cheers, Anna-Marie

Description : Hi, I just had to try and do my own type of music tribute to the sad and unfortunate events in Manchester the other night
I start the song off with a type of music box to represent like a young child and then i go into a violin strings to try and set the sadness and then after a while i used some soft drum and clicks to represent time ticking and then with just the piano and then in the middle of the track it picks up pace a bit and i decided on this because to represent the strength of the people that will stand strong and i once again also put the music box in with this and my reason was to be strong for the rest of the children and then i finsh up with the piano again and the ending on the drum to remember the lives sadly lost and a type of silence if it were
i really feel so sadened by this event and it trully has me in bits
may we all come together and forever be strong and stand up to these horrible people who think they can destroy us and our children and families and loved ones

Description : Recorded this a while ago.. Raw, lovely.. I'm an electric guitarist so this is unfamiliar territory for me... I always wanted to master classical acoustic and I will one day. Video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMt7o3ty9pw *Edit* Despite this being painfully obvious, this is not my composition, it's an effort to learn classical guitar and note the progression for future nostalgia.. This site is making me think I should give the anti-vaxxers some credence. Ffs.
