And I think it actually sounds better, doesn't it? Yes, yes, compression and actually hearing it properly is a tricky thing... I'm still miles away from that... sigh. So thanks again for the tip.

You know, you have remarkable timing, not just musically speaking, because I'm actually working on a remix of this very track right now. I'll upload it here in the next few days and share it a bit. I'm now removing that formant processing from my voice on all my tracks because it bothers me now. There you have it again... musical development always goes hand in hand with personal development. Even if you're an old fart like me.

Hey Chris, thank you for your nice comment. Well, this track is already 3 years old and meanwhile I've become a bit more self-confident when it comes to my music. That's also the reason why I dug up this track again. I think the comparison to the B52's just comes from the screams and heckling from the girls I used there. I can't explain it any other way. But I've often noticed that people sometimes make the strangest comparisons. Music is to a large extent a very emotional and subtle matter. Sometimes it gets extremely weird: I've been told that my music sounds like BONEY M... Daddy Cool, Ma Baker and stuff like that... I really didn't agree with that though and... yes... I was also a little offended! But even that was probably meant nicely.
AND it's still the case that comments like this nice one from you give me a huge boost. Thanks again. Cheers

Yes, I think a good intro is a discipline in itself. It's kind of like the intros to good movies that kind of whet your appetite and set you up and then slide you in. Thanks again.
