Reading through all the comments I can't believe you're unsure about your own creations. I always find them bang on the money in every respect. And you have your own voice and sound. Unique and top quality compositions and performance. Couldn't understand the b52s references though, loved their first album...
Hey Chris, thank you for your nice comment. Well, this track is already 3 years old and meanwhile I've become a bit more self-confident when it comes to my music. That's also the reason why I dug up this track again. I think the comparison to the B52's just comes from the screams and heckling from the girls I used there. I can't explain it any other way. But I've often noticed that people sometimes make the strangest comparisons. Music is to a large extent a very emotional and subtle matter. Sometimes it gets extremely weird: I've been told that my music sounds like BONEY M... Daddy Cool, Ma Baker and stuff like that... I really didn't agree with that though and... yes... I was also a little offended! But even that was probably meant nicely.
AND it's still the case that comments like this nice one from you give me a huge boost. Thanks again. Cheers
Yes, I think a good intro is a discipline in itself. It's kind of like the intros to good movies that kind of whet your appetite and set you up and then slide you in. Thanks again.
Since English is not my first language, I really hope that "Funky like old socks" means something good... "I 'mo take my shoes off (ha ha), and kick up my heels".... Thanks for the listen!
Hey Micky - well I didnt hear this the first time round but it's glistening like a mirror ball now, real depth in mix, great vocals, gorgeously funky rhythms and very classy all round. I played it again right away : )
Hey, thank you for this nice review. Yes, there's been a huge fat disco ball spinning in the middle of my head the whole time. Thanks for listening, much appreciated.
It nice that u can dig in the past creations and find inspiration. For me it lets me how horrible I was than.lol
Funky disco club track! Yes indeed nice fx sounds dope great work Micky
Hey Cincocent, we're all constantly evolving, and some of my tracks from two years ago were basically ok, but today I would approach it very differently. It was the same here. Thank you for listening and for the compliments.
Hi Michael, I guess you're like me: it's the greatest thing when other people like the tracks that you've been working on for so long. So thank you for listening and for the nice visit.
Peace
Hello neighbor, I'm as happy as Rumpelstiltskin if you like my tracks. Well, it might all sound a bit older than your stuff, but I'm trying to give it my all. Thank you for listening and for the nice comment!
Best regards
Hi Paul, thanks for the compliments .... I'm very happy that it gets you moving .... that's actually the best reward. Oh yes, belated happy birthday!
Cheers,
Micky
I will confirm what has been said about your compositions: the level is very high with perfect and crystal clear sounds. Intriguing compositions that mix different styles with great awareness for a perfect result.
Thanks Hood, appreciate it much. Now you are the second one to compare this with B 52's – I love them, but I couldn't find the track you're referring to. I would really like to know, so if you could find out, I'd be very interested to listen.
Regards,
Michael
Hi SpillageVillage,
thanks you so much. This is the kind of comment I appreciate much because you gave me thumbs up although this is not really your style.
Have a nice day,

Description : 'Love will find you at the right time'...This track is about how we vibrationally attract love. From my recollection, in the early 20s/teen years, a typical place to encounter this wonderful force was the Disco. (Kay)
'I always wanted to produce a funk and soul song, as I love the rhythms and vibe. I hope you like my first attempt at this. Many thanks to Darren Hirst for his great bassline' - Oli.

Description : This is another Jazz/Funk composition. My brother on the Loop, BaoBou was kind enough to grace this track with his fire on guitar. Also, as a result of his contribution, I got inspired and added even more funk into the mix. Enjoy.
Description : This is kinda like a funky electro acoustic type thing. Definitely our funkiest piece yet, trying to explore a few different genres here, hopefully you enjoy it! :)
Description : Another one of the older tracks I'm gradually pulling out of storage to rework. For this little funk thing, I played a new bass, added some extra sounds, and remixed and remastered the whole thing. I hope you enjoy it.

Description : Continuing my journey with sampling. This was mostly an accident, and not where I originally thought it would go but I'm happy with the destination. I started with the track Real Reel Switcher by Eunice Russ Frost, which has a slower melancholy swing to it, however I've been playing a bunch of older video games lately, with SSX being in the mix heavily, so this track ended up taking on a bit of that for inspiration as well. Would love your thoughts.

Intro was allright, then it totally caught me offguard when the song actually started.
It sounds so fresh, this is really amazing.
Really wild and artistic at certain points.
All in all I love it!
P. S. The male background vocals are the bomb man
Cheers!
