yeh is a bit ov a mess, one of those tracks where i went back to it a few weeks later and cudnt get back into the same groove as i left it...but this track did get me to think about mixing my tracks on ableton and hardware controllers, using different elements from each track during transitions from 1 to another...controlling each instrument independently on seperate sliders/knobs, so creating ure own mix on the fly...been real busy and at last gonna check out ur tracks
You reminded me. I seriously need new speakers. The one's I got now are beginning to skirt the ragged edge of crappin out. You know what set-up I'd love to have? A 2/4 (or 6) assemblage. 2 subs (10") with 4 or 6 tweets (6"). Kinda like the way some people have their cars.
Anywho, this is a pretty intense track. Very high energy that I could see glow-sticker kids goin crazy over (I'd be there too, with my little LED lights twirlin up a storm). The See-&-Say (atleast, I think that's the name of the toy) vox ya used were killer. The other vox kinda remind me of the stuff The Porn Kings used on their album 'Up To No Good' (absolutely great CD that I highly recommend ya check out). Thanks for sharing this mate. Later on!
ive jus gotta pair of M-AUDIO BX5a's for £150, active monitors and there beautys,, alot of the feedback ive had has been mix issues and after listening back to old tunes i can see wot was being said by peps, which i couldnt hear on my old speakers that were mid/high without ant bottom end at all so made all the mid/high freqs stand out nice and clear to me but sounded muggy and the bass freqs were overbearing to others, but with these new monitors i can sort that out so you can actually hear all the freqs of the trak stand out, ive been itching to get some for ages now and am glad i made the investment as it could save me alot of time in the long run, but always went out and got like MIDI controllers etc, when i probaly should of got the monitors, but when i started gettin reviews on here i saw the need to do so more as it wasnt jus me or my mates listening to the traks, so i would invest in some cuz its not like it one of those things you jus want, but essential in mastering your mastering and getting your traks spot on...glad you liked the trak and i will try to check that porn kings albulm out cuz ive never heard of them
Description : Feel free to check out the video on YT as well (Alan McLaren Project - Upside Down) of this 6min journey from electronic to rock with some psychedelic moments...
This is my latest, but also one of my earliest tracks.... any feedback is more than welcome, thanks :)
Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
