This song started as joke and challenge for me from my friends to mix local folk sound and hardstyle.
Song was made trough last year and finished yesterday so my friend can test it in local discotheque as part of his domestic edm set. It was very successful last night, crowd really liked it.
So we gona release it soon. :)
Vocal is in Croatian, literal translation in lyrics.

Description : This site needs a Hardstyle genre, I think.. Anyways, words written and sung by yours truly. I was hired by Los Angeles DJ Lady Faith and produced by Andrew Bullett, an excellent audio engineer with a ton of talent and skill. I know nothing about this genre but it was said that my voice seemed to match the genre so I gave it a shot. This song was designed for being performed at EDM events and other things; I cropped out the intro and outro parts and this is also still a WIP.

I especially like how the vocal track is used to explain the character a bit. Not just a bunch of misc. words tossed in. The music and effects are killer too. I sort of wish the bass had a bit more punch as skwishfish pointed out. But overall its very creative and well produced. Thanks for adding this one to the Halloween thread its a perfect fit.
It seems like the bass is a little too soft. Almost as if there isn’t a compressor on it at all. Obviously the bass is part of what defines hardstyle and having a bass that is almost non-existent doesn’t bode well for the overall mix of the track. Throwing a compressor on it with some sidechain should boost the level to an audible point.
Also the second drop sounds a bit muddy. There are a few too many artifacts lingering in the top end of the mix. I would recommend cutting the muddy parts of the high end to clean up the track.
Overall sturdy idea and well-balanced instruments. Good work!
