Description : Haven't posted in a while - good to be back, launching Citizen Mofo v2 with this new song... part of an album called "Love Love" I've been creating for a few months. It's about the love I have for my kids and grandkids. We can't all save the world but we can all love our family - and that's what it means to be a Hero of Love. Loops used in the music orchestration are from rasputin1963, alen9r, sushilbaway, danke, and joefunktastic - thank you! Vocals by me.
This funk track was uploaded by CitizenMofo2. They retain full copyright and you are only entitled to listen and in some instances download. For further details on how you can use tracks see the terms and conditions and the tracks section of the help area.

If you have time take a listen and give CitizenMofo2 some feedback.
The message in your songs are so solid/meaningful it seems every track you lay your vocals down on fit perfectly like hand in glove, I love that rawness, it has undeniable power in it, so, so super creative, that's what music should be. Yep, best thing I ever did was having my gorgeous son, he has grown up into such a fine young man. I loved this, the message is wonderful. GREAT!! work here my friend, enjoyed and a fave for me :)
I'm glad you have a son! I have 3 daughters, all grown, and now the middle one has 3 kids. You'll find, if you're lucky like me, that being a grandparent is the best thing ever. You get to fix every mistake you made the first time round and just shower love on the little ones, which is easy to do, in fact impossible not to, because they're adorable. Anyway, I'm writing a lot of song now to express those relationships and those feelings, which are so incredibly powerful. I'm so glad you like it and don't find my voice appalling. It's very encouraging to get such positive feedback from a truly gifted singer (you). So thank you!
Thank you. It's all about family to me. Of course, even alligators know that, so it's nothing special about us. But too often we act (or I have) like we've forgotten. Anyway! Thanks for the encouragement.
Description : 'Love will find you at the right time'...This track is about how we vibrationally attract love. From my recollection, in the early 20s/teen years, a typical place to encounter this wonderful force was the Disco. (Kay)
'I always wanted to produce a funk and soul song, as I love the rhythms and vibe. I hope you like my first attempt at this. Many thanks to Darren Hirst for his great bassline' - Oli.

Description : Continuing my journey with sampling. This was mostly an accident, and not where I originally thought it would go but I'm happy with the destination. I started with the track Real Reel Switcher by Eunice Russ Frost, which has a slower melancholy swing to it, however I've been playing a bunch of older video games lately, with SSX being in the mix heavily, so this track ended up taking on a bit of that for inspiration as well. Would love your thoughts.

Description : A Dark Funk tune , with a touch of Nawlin's jazz funeral procession. Midi-sparks asked me to do a Halloween song for his competition, and so here it is!
Description : Updated 12/2/2022. This is an interesting redo of a funky and fun composition. I gave it more polish by switching to a different drum kit, swapped the flute solo for a synth, then infused more flavor into the guitars, bass and organ. Then lastly tweaking the final master. Can you tell the difference? Let me know. Enjoy.
Description : 3rd track of my future vocaloid album, Acerbus 2.Many thanks to Venuslove for the vocals, MrFunktastic for the Funk bass, Strings (left and right), and the robotic sound mainly at the beginning of the song. and Atlasblue for the Snares (sorry atlasblue that I couldn't include you in the title, only 50 characters allowed, thus I ran out of space)
