Sucked me in on the first bar and kept me groovin, i'm a drummer by soul, always tapping and mixing new patterns in my head... so much so that i lose a lot of them if I don't record em lol. btw: great work and THANKS for the download man, love it
many varied influences in this piece. Indeed, the tribal side is well marked, rhythmically speaking, the presence of percussion brings a certain roundness! so much input into this song that it is almost an anthem: between the oriental Arab influences, Asian at times, African!
I also noticed an austral wink with didgeridoo... even the aboriginal side is present! Sincerely, very good work, I love this mixing of cultures and nothing better to serve this cause than music! By the way did deep jungle exist before? otherwise I’ll say you invented a new genre:)
Very nice journey.
I could do well in your jungle could you in mine?
Ignore that question.
I love the metallic sound of those Asian strings against the deep drums.
Give it great depth.
I'm just going to check my trouser legs for snakes and spiders and stuff you can never be to careful out there.
Great sound.
Wow, I'm trippin, this is soooo fin good!! I am lit right now, But, Dammmm. f****Fantastic!!!Awesome, so man different things going on and I love it all!!
That was pretty impressive.. I've dicked around for a long time trying to figure out a way to use the tribal and jungle sounds to no avail.. I like your arrangement and what you've done here.. it's pleasing.
I've tried since then to do something similar, but not getting there yet. I think that for a song to come about, it has to be the right time. Like we get them from somewhere deep inside, if your connected to the source.
I sure wish I knew how to bellydance! Very light and refreshing, not too much, not too little. Just enough energy to work off lunch. Haha. Nice job. :-)
This is quite an eclectic mix Royal. Some very unique and interesting use of instruments against the tribal drums. Superb production all the way round. The Erhu and Gu Zheng sections floored me bro. Very cool. I totally dig it ! BUT...this track is simply no good without the bellydance video !!!!!(ha ha)
Absolutely loved the beginning, great intro! The flute after 1:00 was a nice addition, old timey, a bit different from the modern feel of the track.
I dig percussion so this automatically piques my interest. The didgeridoo at the end was not expected. The asian strings worked well with this drum beat too, all the strings did actually. Interesting track, certainly not a pop track or something radio friendly but that stuff appeals to people who want to hear something different and off the beaten track, which i like, cool!
Description : This track is now remastered and will be out on streaming platforms soon. If you could go to the spotifies and itunes and see if you can find my account and follow it... that would be MASSIVELY appreciated (heart emoticon)
Description : I've been away for a while, but I'm back into dabbling with music again! This was just sort of a mishmosh of sounds and samples and really was just me being bored and having some fun with ableton. I thought it would be fun to snag some samps from the community here, so there's a few vocal samps from users 2scarze & steelyvibe!
Not sure what else to add or where, and I'm still actively playing around with this so any suggestions or feed back is greatly welcomed!
