Hello thelastmonte,
I've seen some comments about loudness of Your track and tried to remaster Your song.
Here it is for comparision. Of course it is Yours and on wish, I will delete it in my track-list (best after You have downloaded my remastered version ;-)

Yea, would also be interested in a "all Funky" version of this. This arragement has great potential for getting success in a short commercial clip. It's unique and You placed my little Rodes loop in to it perfecly. Thanks for using it so nice :-)

This is really good my friend ! The mix is perfect, clean, it has the moments in it well divided, all flows well, do you play any of the instruments going on this track or its all samples ?? either way its a great piece of music. I see some conteporary dancer doing a performance with this on a street, really cool !

Thanks man, I really appreciate that. I'm very happy that you like it. To answer your questions, I can't play anything. I don't know anything about music either. I get all the samples from looperman and throw them together in ways I enjoy. I build video games as a hobby so I'm usually making music for that, but some sounds just grab me and I end up making songs around them for fun, like this one. I'd be very impressed indeed if anyone could dance to this, but it would be awesome.

This is very good. As a fellow artist who loves to "genre bend" loops to fuse into any style or song, i can appreciate this. It reminds me of some of my earlier efforts which really brought wild sounds together. But as I have gotten wiser with time with looping I am learning that it all has to stick together like glue. You have that cool vocal phrasing which makes it funky and sets a groove tone. you then bring in some sweet strings but it almost segues awkwardly with the vox at first. I have found that that is the time where you up your percussion game, bringing in a bridge that will allow those strings and vox to fit. Don't be afraid to use like 10 tracks for percussion sometimes to give a mix like this some edge.anyhow enough of my "Yakking" from La Belle province, Bonne travaille!

So where the strings and the vocals collide. Ok, thanks for the critique! I'll play around with it.

Do you mean metaphorically? Is it too low? It clips if I turn it any louder.

I kinda like how it starts out as a straightforward funky track, then runs off into different genres. It like the glitchy vocals are travelling through different soundscapes. It's disorienting, but fun as well.
Also, the title is amazing :D

Thanks! I'm glad you think it works. Sometimes I think I'm nuts for trying to fit these different sounds together. As for the title, in the first part of vocals I keep hearing 'You said lets eat, there's pudding for you...'

I like how you steer all the different prts in one direction, they fit well together. Organs/epianos (not sure) sound hella funky. Cool track

The first 31 seconds I was in funk heaven... I'd like to see you do an all funk version of this song

Yeah, see thats what I was concerned about. I think I have two different songs in here. I'll probably do exactly that and do a version without the classical touches.

Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.

Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^

Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.

After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
