Description : "WORLD FUTURISM," a unique blend of global dance
and timeless sounds drawing from nature, traditional music, field recordings,
and the electronic savvy of modern centers like Chicago and London
Description : The tangled skein of life permeates all creation, binding the known to the unknown. This track, in its own subtle way, attempts to convey that.
Description : Just like the first EP "OGOU", this production focuses on organic elements with drum samples. It contains modern sounds such electronic down-tempo, future bass, and hip-hop, which makes the music sound old and new at the same time. With heavy sampling of African chants and sound generated from other tribes, this is production will bring more flavor and enjoyment--it's like Africa to your Ears.
Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!

Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Very nice.
I have read about Vocaloid in the past, but have never actually heard anything produced with it. I really like this track, Eighteen. I prefer tracks with an interesting melody and you created a really nice one in this track. I'd experiment with Vocaloid myself but I'm on a Mac and I believe it is PC only. Too bad. You track, which I greatly enjoyed, makes me want to incorporate it in my music.
Very nice work. Thanks for posting it.
"I'm Eighteen and I don't know what I want", Ooops, sorry bro. It's just that I'm reminded of the Alice Cooper song "Eighteen" when I see your name. Ever heard it? Yeah man, like the others I'm really digging this sound of yours and as mentioned I have never heard stuff like this before. In listening to this I was able to notice a little clipping which I think certain areas of the vocal section is pushing the ceiling too much. I love the track though and think you really have a unique thing going on. The vocaloid combined with the chip tune / Arcade video game sound effects really gets me thinking of Japanese Anime. Very cool stuff bro.
Omg i love such type of music so much. Thx you for allowing download bro. I will listen to this for a few days at least !
I love how quirky and infectious this song is. It's (as others have mentioned) very fresh. Never heard anything quite like it, which is a shame, I want more dammit!
Definitely a fave :)
TA
super fresh sound. your treatment of the vocal is the highlite. really transform her into something otherworldly, yet relatable. fav!
Nice work on the track,,love that melody
Hey Eighteen.
I have never heard of Vocaloid Progressive Ambient as a genre before, but I am glad I stopped bye this song. I really liked the energy and sound you have created. Sort of a mash of vocoded and formant sounds with a chip-tune sensibility. Music like this pushes the envelope and creative boundaries infinitesimally. Really good work.
Cru
hehe afterwards I went to go look at your profile and it turned out that you were from Holland, it goes to show that your music reflects your environment, culture, and where you're from. I was once in Amsterdam, 10 years ago, but it was only for a month. I like your track I'm gonna listen to it for a 4th time now.
haha I like this one, it's very coffeeshopish and Amsterdamish 2004ish
