Tswelo Tales - Philemonster1
9th Jun 2016 15:45 - 10 years ago
Description : This is a story telling Beat i put up from VARIOUS sample packs.
It was inspired by the events following the Shimla Riot at the University of the Free State were student protests were at their most rife.
This Beat is the voice of the oppressed and is highly emotional for those
who have lived through it,and still dealing with the repercussions-like me,facing charges and have been wrongfully imprisoned.
Features Quotes from notable Students and the Hook features a very eye opening statement from the Vice Chancellor of University of the Free State Mr Jonathan Jansen.

Very fresh intro. The 808 is very present and gives a deep feel to the beat. The storytelling vocals are good and fit well to the track. I like how you changed something negative that happened to you into something positive.

Oh man, I haven't heard something with this style in too long, and it is so fresh at the same time! Very present and real, and I'm lovin it! I have to ask, did you do any vocal recordings of yourself in this? Either way, I'm tempted to ask if I can do some sort of remix. I'm on a major protest/nature/chemical high right now, but I usually am. I really dig what you are doing here. Just what I needed to hear today. Fave!

Description : Felt it was time for another big powerful EDM techno project. A good share of the sequencing was done on the Korg EMX1 "big blue" as i refer to it. So here is something to get butts outta seats i hope. Enjoy.

Description : A song of repentance, grace, and redemption, Second Chance reflects on our failures, the pain of misplaced trust, and the unfailing love of God. No matter how far we stray, His arms remain open, calling us back into His light and offering us another chance to begin again.

Description : A collaboration with legend mick gordon. There is no singing in this song other then me doing light hollering.
Playing styles in the track:
Synths: Bright 16th-note arpeggiated sawtooth/pulse leads for an energetic electronic layer, along with smooth atmospheric poly-pads. There is more but no room to list here. A collaboration of this scale with mick gordon was $12,500 usd in english $2500 usd a min. So rest assure this will never be made again. The song is called ILL not dracula.
