Yog Sothoth Part One - Tinka0

Name: Yog Sothoth Part One
Duration: 181 s
Channel: Tinka0
Description: Pure experimental insanity, not for those with a weak heart. Best enjoyed with headphones or a big system. A mix of Indutrial/D&B/Dubstep I had to downgrade the audio quality to upload here, check the soundcloud for the full beauty. Some context for those ignorant of Lovecraft. Picture flickering in and out of dimensions, worlds and sanity all the while trying to describe the experience.

I love the eerie atmosphere of creepy archaic blasphemous chaos that exudes from this song. The pressing percussion mixed with crazy synths renders the abnormal mental processes of the unnameable Lovecraftian entity very well.

Insanely brilliant my friend, the sounds of some kind of evil being eating its way through my roof to bite my legs off!Really like it although its a million miles from my compositions i wish i could produce something like this.I have big monitors,i am sure i saw smoke coming out of the right side..i hope you are heavily insured :)

That's exactly the mood I was trying to capture, thanks :D Heh, my headphones are broken XD Keep practising man, next time I'm checking tracks I'll swing by your page :)

you handle some pretty aggressive sounds very well. those can be tough to tame in a mix. you seem to understand very well the industrial color and style. the track creates a steamy brooding, sometimes foreboding mood. really nice work.

Thank you my friend :) I'll be honest I have no idea what I'm doing, never have haha..

Lovecraft just twitched in his grave...and so did I. Very magnanimous song! Sorry have to go Cuthlulu is yelling at me to make the hor d'oeuvres for the guests or he will inflict Pimoa spiders upon my being... ghastly!!

Love Lovecraft's Cuthlulu mythos! Great things come out of pure experimental insanity :p

Tinka0 replied 7th Mar 2016 - 10 years ago

I'm a big Lovecraft fan too, I hope I can do him ever more justice in part two. Thanks for listening dude :)

Description : I wanted to create something dark and romantic with an RnB and retro wave touch. This song has a retro futurism feel to it. I was inspired by The Weeknd when I was writing this song, especially his first mixtape, House Of Balloons, hence the deep roamntic analogies in the songwriting. I have sung this song myself and produced it too. No AI used here. This is an old song.
