Description : Melodic tech-house, I was aiming for a Guy J style, not sure still some work on it to be done. Semi chilled tune 125BPM done entirely in Reason4.

Such a good groove with this one! I'm a sucker for drums so when the break comes in at 3:04, i'm smiling from ear to ear. Very cool job!

Now if you'll excuse me, i'm gonna go run through Deus Ex: Human Revolution for some more of these feels. Nice work!

6.42 is a bit shabby too after another listen.
But I love this track and what you've done.

Lol, Thanks for the comments...I am actually laughing tho because you are so right...this track smacks of lazy production, I was tired and had a quite a few beers and I'm notoriously lazy to revisit a track and correct it. Perhaps I will.

This predates house by many years as far as I'm concerned and takes me back to the very best of late seventies and the likes of Jean Michel Jarre.
That is meant as a compliment of the highest order.
Love the way it comes rolling in on a beautiful deep piled carpet of smoothness.
It's not perfect there are a couple of glitches here and there where things change and lose that super smooth feel but then the smoothness picks up again.
It has a luxurious feel to it as well as a very pro one.
3.04 is an example of what to me sounds like a bd changeover a bad join and then you're up and running again.
    Gotta go in my faves.

Groovy production. Really like the synth work, has a future like feel to it. Slight tron vibes almost. Could go perfect with a cycle ride, even in real life. Somewhere in Tokyo at night or a somewhere with a great scenic view at night. Great job. No issues here, peace

    Love It!!

Suggest; Bring the drumloop in so its upfront and just matching the synthlines and cut all reverb on drums or have very little so the drums are splitting the synths whilst evening the overall mix between synths and beats.

Its a breakbeat which should be heard upfront even if it is deephouse as it will carry the harmonics for the track with the bassline

Beats don't need reverb unless you're doing slower songs where the reverb dynamics can be fully utilized..i use minimal even on deep house tunes purely as I light background feel so it naturally sounds part of the track and also know from performing live that each room, venue you play at has its own natural reverb including head room space which can alter a whole set when you combine reverbs between venue and sound....as im sure you are aware.

Really love this song man....it has mass appeal!

    Regards,

    DJ-SLT-UK

Thanks for the comments, and the advice will look into those proposals when I re-engineer it soon. I recently did a new version with a changed kit so some of those issues may have altered. Could post the other real soon. cheers.

As always tinged slightly dark.
I knew again not what kind of a genre it is really.
Therefore, it is under Deep House because that fits in my opinion, quite good. But who knows ....

Description : I had this amazing vox: https://www.looperman.com/acapellas/detail/5256 and drums by Eos and Mmedia to work with and this is what I came up with.
The acapella is from Porter Robinson and Mat Zo's tune Easy, so technically it's a remix, but I actually heard the original after I made my own song around the vox so it's not similar at all...maybe that's a good thing, I don't know.
But I really did my best with this one and tried to use everything I learned so far while mixing and mastering and I'm actually almost happy with the result.
Work in progress though...the piano comes out in one ear and the vox in the other so something went wrong anyway. =D
Edit: I'm NOT happy at all anymore - hearing all the flaws now...
Feedback will be much appreciated!
