Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."

Funny thing is he always has and always will...
He has sent many SONs here, that walked the walk and talked
the talked... Needless to say they've always killed them, so why
should he show his face to us...
We are to greedy to blinded by lies, still act like Cavemen even
with all the institution of higher learning, with degrees up the
ying-yang...We still have learned nothing..shame really...
But stupid is as stupid does...
a rewarding listen EpicRecord, i liked the vocal harmonies , the guitar and the backing vocals.
even the piano and ambient rhythm is nice
thanks for this piece

Oh, I see. And EQ tree effect? I don't know what that is. I don't see the need for a kick reducing compressor, as there isn't much kick to begin with, but thanks for offering those suggestions! :)
Beautiful Message ! Hoping it happens :)
Its a very professional song, spectacular vocal work, the sounds were captured beautifully, everything just works well together.
I like religious songs (not just Christian).
I have a Christian background so i can easily identify with this song.
Thank you for the amazing song, will recommend it to some folks ;)
Regards
Great track man, lyrics are great as well, tough for some to understand. As always the quality of the recording is top notch, you definitely have a gift. Everything else is great, vocals, melody, music all play well with each other. Great job and you did a nice job of responding to the different views that others have had as well so good job on that as well :)
Pleasing and relaxing chillout music...some keyboard parts even remind me on "True Colours" of Cyndi Lauper which I always had kinda soft spot for. Well done!
you created a beautiful sound and it is an inspiring message and delivery. at 47 seconds in it is a magical transition to the fuller sound of main part. fascinated by this kind of wave form (hitting flat out on the top and bottom). that is a hard limiter effect I believe? best regards? Dan
Yes it is a hard limiter :P I use the free 2007 limiter made by Steve Massey. Quite useful. It was one of the best out on the market during its release, since it's algorithm analyzes (in a unique way) the song and allows for a more purified compression.
I have no words for your work, I've always been a fan of this style of music, the chord progression, vocal style & instrument choices. I could listen to this all day.
This is a fantastic record! From recording to mastering it, sounds great. I just recently finished mixing a song from a Christian band and went through a ton of tracks to use as a reference for my mix. I honestly think that this sounds better than most of the tracks I listened to.
Nice work and I hope to hear more tracks like this!
Very nice one and very well played. Same with the production at all, realy clear and good sounding. Vocals fits to the music and i bet the people around you will love this track.
If i listen to the most christian music here in germany, then i wanted realy often to run away but this is just nice music with a christian message.
In a way i am happy that i don´t understand the words compleetly and can take them just as a sound, ´cause to much believing makes me mostly nerves :)
Realy good work and for sure a hit for the people who believe.
Musically it's a nice modern hymn. good sound and mixing no complaints from the production standpoint.
Lyrically I challenge you this as you so eloquently stated to Static Nomad "I understand that there are many different viewpoints in this world and I'm just sharing mine"
Fair enough. Lyrically I would just question an Omniscient and omnipresent god who created "everything" would take away evil and unjustness when that very God created all of that in the first place. Seems a bit weird logically from a lyrical standpoint? But these are the questions that keep me up at night ;-)

"Omniscient and omnipresent god who created "everything" would take away evil and unjustness when that very God created all of that in the first place."
It is believed in Christian tradition that evil first entered creation when Satan, once known as Lucifer (the greatest of all angels) decided he would rebel against God and His plan for the human race.
Maybe it would have been more concise to say God created "all things good" since God, being perfect cannot create evil. We through our own decisions can do evil(just like the angels), but that's a whole other story.
What this song is saying is that God will one day return to eliminate all the dischord caused by us and Satan.
I'll try and explain more later! Off to Nashville!
Yes, yes!!! This is it!! You described it as very simple but there is so much beauty in its simplicity. The arrangement is outstanding. Your vocals shined right through. I usually don't download anything from here but this song is so touching that I had to. Definitely in my playlist right now. Excellent work, sir!
I can't stand Christian rock or Christianity in general but this is really well produced.
I particularly like the stereo width. The very wide drums sound excellent. They have a real subtlety them. Shaker is good and the main loop has an interesting filtered tone to it and doesn't get boring.
Everything is pretty much crystal clear. Vocals well recorded.
I'm not sure I can fault this pro production in any way. And you know I always try.
To conclude: I don't think God will rule, or ever has, but the production on this really does.
Greetings, Senor Nomad :P I understand that there are many different viewpoints in this world and I'm just sharing mine :) I'm glad you liked the production though, coming from your scrupulous self that means a lot. Thanks for stopping in!
Wow!
I love it when I get to have a wow moment.
This is beautiful.
Danke is right about the smudge on the end.
Can see it on the file too.
Nothing to getting rid of it of course.
Very very beautiful 21st century hymn.
Mate nice piece, nice vocals man, the piano the stand out for me, everything sounds where it should be to make a very nice track like this...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
I am really enjoying the quality of the recording and the arrangement on this one. Everything sounds wonderfully clean and transparent, little piano additions were cool.
fine chillout (christian chillout?).
Congratulations and simply keep up the production!
Glad you liked it. I was doing my best to get the song crispy and balanced without making the sibilances painful or noticeable and it seems to have paid off. I tried doing a mixing technique of PULLING DOWN unimportant track volumes instead of PUSHING UP the ones I wanted to be heard. I think Spivkurl was the one who mentioned this and he is definitely correct - it makes for a much more malleable end-product that can be mastered/compressed with great ease. All I did was boost the high end with a slight curve (max of about 3.4 dB) and since the bass was too overwhelming on the first version of this song, I pulled down the bass track a bit and then cut away about 1.2 dB of low end. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this one.
Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!
Description : So this is my first Chill Outish track. I was just trying something new and then suddenly this was a thing. Everything you hear is home made. I hope you enjoy. - Mr. Spook'd
Description : That's something i worked out lately

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...
Description : This is a pretty chill track with a certain vibe. I really enjoyed making it.
Hope you guys enjoy it and let me know what you think, any feedback is appreciated.

Nothing wrong with it...acoustic tone is pro as usual, the voice and backing vocals are fantastic...
(There is a note at the end, what you don't need to be there, I think...)
