Description : This improv recorded a few years ago powered my interest even further than I expected.....recorded using tc electronics pedal and tascam studio recorder and a Fender Squier tele electric....
Hello, Glenn, my name is Jared, Im Aaron's (pnnywze) brother, and a vocalist in the group we put together. Ive been making my way around the community and listening to alot of great music from some insanely talented folks. And its not hard to see why my brother likes your guitar pieces so much - This is truly great man. My brother plays too, but not as much as he used to. And never quite like this - This feels almost transformative, dude. So glad i pressed play on this one.
Hello Jared , you guys are doing great things and I greatly appreciate listening to all the super talented people on looperman.....I'm just a guy who likes playing or tries hard at playing guitars. I'm not a true player....I just enjoy looking for something I can blend my weird style of improv to and make it sound decent. I have other tracks I will plan to share if anyone cares to listen and am glad to know you guys.....your works are great and informative.....it helps a lot of us to be more creative....I thank you for that and your comments my friend.
man, this the second chill song I heard tonight. I'm almost in a meditative state. this song is awesome. It has a vey smooth energy flow. great guitar play.
Hello Mindhiest.....I appreciate you giving my track a listen my friend.....this is one of my favorites.....I'm more into chillout and ambient style music these days so I sort of gravitate to this style....I thank you for checking it out.
Glenn, hello. I don't know if you are familiar with Looperman's very own Tumbleweed, but he is also a phenomenal guitarist. This song reminds me of some of his work. I mention him, not to take away from your abilities or skills, but instead to say that it would be amazing to hear the two of you collaborate on a call and response duet. What a captivating "conversation" that would be.
Just listening to this, I can tell that when you play, you disappear from this plane and exist solely in the dimension where music is like an omnipresent being. A place where you have to ask yourself, "Am I creating this music, or am I just a vessel for the music that was already there?" I imagine when it's time to stop, you have to come up for air.
Anyhow, excellent work. It is definitely a Chill-out song.
Take care.

Hello there ValveD.....brother that's a lot to take in but let me say when I'm improvising with the guitar I know I'm constantly looking forward and playing notes before I actually play it....to play in time your thoughts have to sync with the music....along with picking and fingering and so on. My mind is always someplace else when I play. But anyway I have listened to some of Tumbleweeds work and think he's a great artist musician and all those things....guys like this are far past my music position. I just enjoy contributing the music that I am able to share. I have added a few loops from Tumbleweed to my list and hope to maybe share it with you and everyone soon.....I will say you never know what the future holds.
Hi Richard my friend.....I appreciate your words and who knows what the future holds. I do know that there are many great musicians and other artist on this site that are very talented. Im just happy to be able to add my tiny contributions of guitar to the mix.....to be able to actually collaborate with any of you in a way is a lot more than I would have pondered. Playing by heart and feel and improving serves me in some ways but others it may not fit....I do look forward to some ideas when it seems like the right feel and that I really mean. I'm enjoying a lot of the great music on this site and you , John and others gove me reasons to stay engaged....so let's push forward and see what could happen one day, anythings possible.....with much respect.
Simply beautiful. The only thing i was connected to for a moment was the music that was just playing, & im a little sad its over lol. But thats what the best music does. I hope i can hold a listener even half as a much as you can, my friend. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Pnnywze....sorry I did not respond sooner.....I of course appreciate your words and definitely have other things I want to share if you have the time to check them out.....I need the music as much as the need to breathe, it powers me even when im not playing....but that's just me. Thank you for your time.
hi glenn, i thought i'd listened and commented to this last week, i obviously hadn't, my only excuse can be, i must of drifted away bro, simple as that, its delightful, do i really need to say any more, great piece :))
Hello Dimestop....say brother sometimes drifting always not a bad thing, it can revitalize everything important. I do of course appreciate your comments and let's keep the spirit moving forward.
Hey glennwhite6504,
you have great feelings in your fingers. Wonderful to listen to just a smooth chill out track. Very well composed the whole track. It is like beeing in a wonderful moment, full of satisfaction, at the beach, 27 degrees, some little clouds in the sky, the seagulls make their noise, I am dreaming and a little tenderness between me and my wife. Kids are playing and we hear their voices. The whole scene is at our Northsea, Cuxhaven. Thanks for making me dreaming.
Great Track.
Matthias
Hi there LJmbbremen....I thank you for listening to my track my friend...that's a very nice setting you described and I can just imagine how nice that is.....sounds wonderful. Thank you for letting this track share that space....it's very much appreciated.....until next time.

Hello there Verdiqo....thank you my friend for giving me your time and ears, it means a lot and it's appreciated. We do our best when it comes to so many endeavors and especially when it comes to music....I try very hard to lay down what I'm thinking and feeling when playing....and having great musicians and players and also super knowledgeable music lovers just to give their thoughts is a plus as well....I've heard incredible efforts by so many on this sight and it's pretty rewarding in itself.....glad to be a part of it....again thank you for your time and thoughts.
Once more a great track, with excellent sound and musical performance.
I really enjoyed listening to your improvisation the whole time, it never got boring.
I wish you the best Anthony.
Hi AnthonyA....I again appreciate your time and words my friend.....i have a lot of respect for you and others and think it's benefits everyone. Thanks again for listening to this track.
Hello VintageNights.....my friend Hank Marvin is way past my skill level...he's one in a million, I myself play thru feel of the chords and the story I'm creating as I play.....it's hard to explain in a way because there's no real method other than those mentioned....I try to play with a sense of true feel if that makes sense. I look for those notes that reach a little further. I'm grateful for your time and thank you for listening.

Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!
Description : So this is my first Chill Outish track. I was just trying something new and then suddenly this was a thing. Everything you hear is home made. I hope you enjoy. - Mr. Spook'd
Description : That's something i worked out lately
a swing 3/4 hip hop Chill ?? Don't know how to describe this kind of music.

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...
Description : This is a pretty chill track with a certain vibe. I really enjoyed making it.
Hope you guys enjoy it and let me know what you think, any feedback is appreciated.
