Description : Picked up a "Samick-Artist Series Edition" 1970 Guitar...
Just giving it a run through, to see if I'll keep it in
my Arsenal of Axe's... :-)... So this is just Bass, Drums
and Guitar...
Not really happy with the Drums so they will change, some
tones in the Guitars will change, only because this is
just a rough mix..Got another Project had to dump this
from my drive...Hope you all enjoy...
Peace...TG.

TG, this is really nice. I learned a long time ago that the tone and timbre of a guitar lies directly in the hands of the player. It is only when an accomplished artist puts those hands to work that the true nature of the guitar comes out.
Like the others have said, keep that guitar! And keep putting these gems up for the rest of us to listen to and marvel at. Added to favorites, and a huge thank you for another master's class in how to navigate a fret board. I hope all is well.
Most players use a lot of the same sounding gear, kinda hard not
to sound like someone else...
So in fact it's what you are playing, that can give you your story
and lets tell it the way you want sound wise...
The trick is to know how to say, feel and express what you feel
through the guitar or any instrument...
It's easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right place at the right time and the instrument will play itself.

Oh man.....there is something about this that speaks to the heart/mind....the music that has always stuck with me tends be the simple tunes that let the particular feeling/instrument speak its peace.....love the rich guitar tones TG...I think the beat simplicity does fit the vibe well so not sure I`d muck with a whole lot...same with the gtr tones.. (I have a hell of a time finding drums I like)....You have done it again....and even though you consider it a rough draft...I still consider it a fav.....Ed
I was trying to get 3 or 4 different sounds out of it, that made sense
in my head anyway... :)
The trick is to try and stay out of each others way, but somehow
come together... Keeping things simple..
The Drums are my Alesis SR18 and it just that I need to drop a few
things into the program add some dynamics...
Thanks for your solid comment, glad you enjoyed it...
I'm not one that likes to hear the balance of harmony, changed
so what you want to do...Is for what and why would you, want to...
If you've got the talent to change my sound...Then you should
be able to do your own...And perfect it...
See listen and learn, then you can take someone else's stuff and
do...So for today it's:
Sweet! The fact that this is an unfinished work is a testament to your musical genious. I love the soulful funky rawness of the guitar. Well done, you!
I thank you for your kind words, this is just messing around but
it turned out not bad...Genious is a long way beyond this, you don't
get there when you want to...It lets you in for a moment and if you're
paying attention, you learn something that you can, take back with you
when the door closes... :)
Really loved the smooth Allman-Brothers style guitar playing licks. Really tastefully done! I loved how each guitar fit into its own space in the track!
Allman-Brothers...A few good friends in the first band, that have
moved on to the band in the sky...
I hope to see them when I get there...hahaha :)
Guitars:
Just trying a little different placements, in the mid range and highs
bottom end is strong but to me the drums, make it feel wrong...
They will change when I find the time...
Glad you enjoyed it...
It was never meant, to be anything but a test run for my New Guitar
the tracks are logged and filed, if and when I want to get down to the nuts and bolts, by mixing my CD or something then and only then
will adjustments be done...
What an atmospherical, moody, tasty, superb track!
Just sitting around you and enjoy this jammy trip with the smile on my face...somewhere in time...:-)
The Guitar is a 1970 Model Samick...Did you know, they made
the 1st Gibson's for the Gibson company...
The one I have, looks and feels like an "SG" model, one piece
body and neck...Plays like a dream, I had somewhere in time... :-)
Thanks My Man...
And may the winds of life blow, only good things your way...
Peace...TG.

Description : Every instrument is performed and recorder live. Piano, double bass, drums.
Instruments Used:
-"WELTMEISTER" upright piano (MADE IN GERMANY in 1938)
-"KAY" upright bass (MADE IN GERMANY somwhere in 1950th)
-TAMA Imperial Star + Pearl OMAR HAKIM snare + Various Ziljian cymbals.
I just put together some old ideas to see if it will work. Some vocals and brass, or guitars is clearly needed. Let me know what you think about it. Tnx
Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...
Description : I think it's a late evening song to accompany you for a single drink.
Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.
Description : This track made me just stop working on it and listen to it for enjoyment.
Smooth Mellow funky Jazz. Uses: 0111003-djrumplestiltskin-swung-funk-drum-beat, 0087009-mrroads442-guitar-line, 0072485-michiel555-mellow-funk, 0058934-ferryterry-90-bpm-soprano-sax. Is this Funk or Jazz?
Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : Something a bit different from us. I (Bobo) played guitar, synth, midi bass and percs to this piano loop by LM's most excellent Rasputin. Wataya, stoned as usual, thought he heard Barbara Streisand singing. This is the result.
Description : I created a hip hop groove in Logic and decided to duel some Saxophones. I am playing the Baritone sax on the left pan and the Tenor Sax on the right pan.
I added some bells like a boxing match bell to give it a fight drama feel. The hip hop track itself is dope to me. The duel is cool too. Who won?
Peace...TG.
