hi FR. Very nice. All made around one piano loop - that's impressive for a 8 min track. That female vocal phrase from about 2:05 was too short for me. The composition is kind of minimal for sure but you might try incorporate longer soul/rnb pellas instead of single shouts sometime. Just a thought.
Anyway that was really enjoyable listening. Thanks.
Best, Alex
Hey Alex, Sorry for the late reply. I've not logged on for over a week. I used to use full pellas from this site a lot but i just haven't found one that i like for aaaagggges. I suppose i could always try and change my style to suit the vocals instead of looking for one that fits what i'm doing but i'm just a bit lazy if i'm honest.
Still, glad you could drop by and leave your thoughts.

Hi FR,
A travel back in time it is (heck Yoda is alive and well!) albeit of the 21st century variety, Prodigy eat your heart out! love the intro and change at 0.30, great bridge at 3.37. for me the male and vocals fit perfectly to together and give a great retro sounding track a bang up to date feel. just thought vocals could have been slightly more clear and crisp, and a few female/male ohhs and ahhhs as a chorus may have added!....but a great track as always FR and what do I know! going to be a fav anyway!
my best wishes as always,
Mark

I like this track very much. The one thing I think I dislike the most is the male vocal . The thing I liked most about this track were the female vocal towards the end of the first half of the song. They sounded perfect. Overall nice oldschool feel and a great mix.
Thanks. I wasn't sure of that male vocal either but i got p***ed off trying to find something else that fit. Perhaps i'll go back and look at it again for a fresh idea.

FR, this is exactly what I needed to get my azz moving this morning, haha. Got a bunch of leaves to rake up and I needed something more than coffee for inspiration. Really solid work as usual. Not sure why you have 40+ plays and only one review...where in the hell is the love people. Anyway, another great track from one of the Loops most creative people. Well done man. I hope all is well.
Make that 40 plays and two reviews. I wasn't expecting much of a response on this really as it's just a bunch of loops really. My new years resolution is to get some better VST's and start making my own stuff again. Glad you could stop by and i hope all is cool with you as well.

Thanks. I love all the old early 90's rave stuff so i thought i'd have a try at recreating the vibe.
I'm honored that a musician of your talent can find the time to stop by and leave your thoughts. Personally i think it could be a lot better if i invested in some decent synths. One day i'll get round to it.

Description : I have been using LooperMan for practice for some time now. This my most recent track. The only loop in the song is BabyGee's vocals. Free to download and if you repost tag me so I can share it as well.
Description : A psychedelic techno cello epic. It's not really techno as it's only 110 BPM but something like that (eg breakbeat), with lots of banging beats and arpeggiated acid synths, plus a whole load of my layered cello playing techniques. There aren't that many synths used but they do a lot of work and are carefully automated. No guitar. Drums are mostly a lot of drum loops, supported by a few programmed acoustic drumkits. Very busy and complicated with loads of different sections (funky, chilled, fast, heavy) that make up a constantly progressing trip. I don't know if there's any other cello music like this so let me know if you think there is. Interesting feedback appreciated - criticism, praise, ideas etc. Enjoy...
Description : Summer type dance track, for those precious 2 weeks off, if you can get them! Made around a selection of different loops and some keys from me.
Description : Inspired by an experimental percussion piece I heard. Rhythmic ticking builds into pounding beats and heavy soundscapes. I haven't done any mixing or mastering yet so tell me what you think. Any and all comments are welcome.
Anyway that was really enjoyable listening. Thanks.
