Description : an invitation for you to let your feelings flow.

here in Looperman there are great composers as "VickyDan, freeradical, staticnomad, Danke, Orland51, Decibel, among other talented this site. (many for sure, I do not remember all the names)
And another great composer "Mstokes"
These days, I was wondering: "Where is this guy?"
this guy brought beautiful compositions.
I do not know if only I who ask the question, but I wanted to leave a message for all composers of this site.
never cease to create music and share your work.

Funny you mention Mstokes...rather ironic actually. I too have been wondering where he's been, I was supposed do a collab with him. He wanted me to remix some stems of his, never got around to it though. (I still need information regarding his stems anyways, like the bpm) So I left a comment on one of his old tracks, I'll see if he gives a response.

I have his email, so i might just contact him directly soon. But this is a very intricate piece of work here..and a commendable shout out to the many talented of looperman. Perhaps the best site for real artists, there is a no comparison sometimes i think. I've heard leaps and bounds of skill on here and it only inspires me to become better. This is a excellent production, I have no real critiques. Continue the musical journey. peace

It's cool how you created the ambience of rain, it is very vivid. And it fits with the current weather I am experiencing here.
Further though it is simplistic it still manages to sound interesting which is something not anyone manages to do.

Thanks for sharing it with us and keep them coming ;)

Your words here are appreciated.

this piece is really simple, but the important thing is feeling that music is able to create, an imagination, a thought, this is something very interesting.

Strongly sent invitation Anubis. Your asked question is more common than it may appear. This night rain of thoughts dropping from the sky sounds well transmitted from its source. Enjoyed the mix of thoughts you've got speaking here. Nicely surrounds that doesn't crowed. Single space that brings elements together "the pulling energy" which you've achieved a great deal with this. Really enjoyed that padded sound you have playing most of the track, constantly evolving into a new form of itself as it plays throughout which is cool. The pace of the space has me a good mental. You have the amazing noises Anubis, Thanks for sharing with all. Keep creating your Peace.

nice bassline and atmospherics. It's reminding me a little of royksopp (but only a little)
Like the way all the instruments creep in slowly and build up layer upon layer.
There's a thing in the background that sounds a bit like a metronome which was a pretty cool addition.
Nice Piece

thank you for your presence here, and by this comment encouraging.

might sound you hear in the background, is isolated small notes of the (lead) if what I'm thinking.
are you put them in the spaces between the notes, to give an aquatic feel.

Wow...Anubis, another great track from your musical vault. Your high quality pieces are like from conveyor belt. You're not only musicaly skilled but also incredibly productive. Your new music is on a daily menu and that's absolutely great.
This time around you added some electronica flavour, which indicates very welcoming versatility!

Keep up a good work, my friend...

This is something different from you. None of your big, ancient tribal sounds. Much more electronic this time.

Lots of powerful noise on this - a little bit like rain.

And big, long bass notes.

0:21 good lead arpeggio.

No proper drum beat but it does have a steady groove I can feel.

I guess this is more of your computer game soundtrack music. Would be good for a scene with lots of rain or perhaps a planet with a strange atmosphere or landscape.

Thanks for saying I'm a great composer. I'm good at jamming on instruments and then spending a long time editing the parts together. I'm not sure if that's really proper music composition - more like music collage.
Anubis
Anubis replied 28th Apr 2014 - 11 years ago
sure, it is distant from tribal compositions.
Sometimes I vary these genres.

00:21 (this lead was built, before any other element in this song, and she was exactly as I wanted.)
but my next song will bring back the essence of "ancient tribal"
My friend, her songs are talented, continue sharing your work with us all.

thank you for leaving this note here and support.

Best wishes!

Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.
