Hey Steve, not sure how I missed this one, but I'm glad I found it this morning with a full cup of coffee in my hand. Magix is such great software...too bad more people haven't discovered how good it really is. The song is outstanding, but the mix is even better. Really well done. I hope all is well.

Hey, this is sweet and special! Just got to the piano section, and it just sounds great! Then some nice acidic synth work, very cool change there! I think between that spliff of a minute ago and this song I may have overdone it on the relaxation for 8:26 in the morning! The guitar part sounds great, a very cool way to head towards a conclusion! Very fun one to listen to! Fave!

Not too many songs in this genre have me captivated by the first note. This one is the exception. Awesome Track...i like the throwback to earlier days of Electronic music. Well done, you!

Just bloody marvellous work here Steve. That is some good guitar sounds you have going there.

I love the title especially, yes writing tunes is 'Real Life' and going to work everyday, that's the illusion! hahaha... - Billy

I suppose a lot of our fellow artists will recognize your sound sources Steve...but I don`t as I can`t tell the difference between the sounds from an 80`s synth and one somebody got yesterday...but I sure know what sounds I like wherever they may originate...you`ve got some really great sounding rich ones here (I like those pads that have a bit of a sweep & movement)....nice little progression holding this one together and an infectuous beat...Like it all, especioally that synth part doing the lead around 4:05...brillian job...really enjoyed this one......Ed

Description : "WORLD FUTURISM," a unique blend of global dance
and timeless sounds drawing from nature, traditional music, field recordings,
and the electronic savvy of modern centers like Chicago and London

Description : The tangled skein of life permeates all creation, binding the known to the unknown. This track, in its own subtle way, attempts to convey that.

Description : Just like the first EP "OGOU", this production focuses on organic elements with drum samples. It contains modern sounds such electronic down-tempo, future bass, and hip-hop, which makes the music sound old and new at the same time. With heavy sampling of African chants and sound generated from other tribes, this is production will bring more flavor and enjoyment--it's like Africa to your Ears.

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!
***original description***
Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening
